It is very normal for your periods to be irregular when you are just starting to menstruate. Don't worry...it happens to a lot of us.

You ask, I answer

it's normal, and it probably will do that for a few years. if you get to 16, and it's still not normal, talk to your doctor. if you have stress, or a sudden change in eating habits or exercise, that can have an effect as well. i wouldn't worry about it if you aren't sexually active.

I wouldn't worry at all. they wont be totally regular the first year. it is very common. if after the first year they are not regular just go see a doc and they can give you birth control to make them regular(not just for preventing pregnancy) sometimes the body temporarily lacks the level of hormones it needs. But really DONT WORRY....... you are perfectly normal. no freaking out OK! and welcome to womanhood. a curse at times but mostly a blessing (come on would you rather be a guy lol!?)

yes it is very common not to get your period again for awhile if this was your first time. It takes about 1-2 years for the menstrual cycle to become regular (sucks, doesn't it).

Sometimes that is normal. Talk to your mom about it. My daughter did the same thing and then when she did get her next period she was on it for like 3 weeks which made her sick. If you talk to your mom she might want to take you to the doctor. If you have to go don't worry. They will not do alot just mainly ask some questions, feel around on your belly and maybe take a little blood to see if your anemic (this is what they did to my daughter) They will not do any exams or stuff like that. They put my daughter on the pill to get her period regular. The doc told us that sometimes this happens when girls 1st start. So just talk to your mom, and wait to see what happens. You should be just fine.

This is normal. My period skipped a month although i started last year.Im still waiting for it to come on.It may do that every now and then but wear pads if you feel that it is time to come on or just it in a case because it may come on unexpectedly.Or u can carry a pouch (panies and 2 pads)in your bookbag just in case it comes on in school. It sometimes changes times too.Like it may come at the beginning of the month at first but then change to the end of the month.

sometimes your first periods are not normal. wait it out a couple of days, it will probably show. birth control also helps to regulate periods.

No sex means you're not pregnant, so don't worry about that one.
My first year of getting periods, I missed about 6 that year. I had one, missed two, had one or two, missed one, etc. It takes the body a little time to regulate. I was pretty steady at 29 days apart after that till the third year (I kept records going all the way back) when I had 4 months in a row with nothing (and no sex either!) then two, then missed two more months. But after that I've had them steady as anything.
Stress sometimes influences it, as does extremely physical training (like for a marathon). You can skip a month here or there due to either one.

This is perfectly normal and happens to most if not all girls as they become women. It could be several months before you have another, or it could come every 2 weeks for a while. Just carry your pads in your purse and be prepared. Your system will even off and become regular, most women are so regular they can tell you what day and about what time theirs will start. Talk to your mom honey, if she hasn't explained all of this to you, it's probably because moms have a hard time with their babies growing up, but I'm sure she would be glad for some girl time with you, it's something moms miss as their little girls blossom and leave us behind for bigger and better things.
Respect your body, and never let anyone force you into what you don't want!! Good luck honey and congratulations!

Don't worry at all. When periods start they are very unreliable. I had months between mine at the beginning, after you have had it for awhile, you will notice it comes on a pretty predictable schedule.
