Hi. I have had little bumps underneath my clitoris, where I pee out of (which I thought was my urethra, but someone told me thats inside your body). I am not sexually active, I do not have an std. My urine starting hurting when it came out, and these bumps appeared. They only bother me sometimes, and I've had them for a couple months. I'm 13. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with me?
Additional Details
I feel really weird having a doctor look at my vagina. I've kind of avoided it. It was really bad at first, but it as gotten ALOT better, but the bumps are still there. It actually did happen after I think I might've been masturbating or I rubbed my clit against something really hard and it hurt. I told my mom, and she wanted to look, but I avoided the time and she forgot. If I go to the doctor, should I shave my pubic hair?

Have you told your mother about this? If not you should. You are at the age where you should be seen by a Gynecologist for your first female exam if you haven't already. You should see a doctor because burning urination is not normal. It is a sign of infection and needs to be treated. If you can't tell your mother, tell an aunt or a friend's mother, so you can get to the Dr.

Hello there. I am 16, and the EXACT thing happened to me. I am not the type to tell my parents or a doctor about stuff like that, so i didnt. =)
And I'm fine now and they are gone.
If they are the same thing, I wouldn't be worried if I were you.
Sorry but I don't remember how long they lasted.
But they healed and all went away and now I don't have any :).
But I agree with all of these other people, if it gets worse you are going to have to tell someone.
Good luck :)

I suggest you go to your doctor. Eventhough it only hurts sometimes now, it could become a serious problem, and treating it early is always the best choice

You might have an infection.
If you do not feel comfortable seeing a doctor with that kind of problem then tell your mother...
she can call the doctor and get advice on how to stop the problem.
Make sure to keep it clean, no matter what...
and tell your mom right away.

Im 13 too. No don't shave your pubic hair cos the doctor has seen many through treating women. Just plain and simple. GO TO THE DOCTOR! once you have gone to the doctor you won't be worried anymore.

Good Luck. I'd be scared of going to the doctor too!

You need to see a doctor. Go to planned parenthood if you don't want to talk to your parents about it. It doesn't sound serious, but you should always get it looked at especially if it is causing you a burning sensation while you urinate.

This happened to me too once. I was also too scared to go to the doctor or talk to my mom about it, because it felt too weird.
I just ignored it and it actually ended up going away. I don't know if that's the same case with you, so if it doesn't clear up in a few more weeks, I suggest going to the doctor. Mine stopped after about a month. I never really found out what caused it, though, so I don't know what else to tell you except that it's probably nothing.
If it gets worse, definitely see a doctor of some sort.

1. ur uretha is the connecting tube between ur bladder and the external sphincter, this is what is at he surface and what ur urine actually comes out of. ur clitoris is actually above this opening. 2. burning urination is probably a urinary Tract infection, is the smell different, color, clarity?? this can be easily treated by ur doctor with a urine sample. 3. bumps ?? irritation, rash, ?? get checked when getting urine sample. 4. shaving ?? that is ur preference, wont bother doctor either way.

you might be scarred to tell your parents but even if you dont tell them what is wrong ask to go to the doctor . you may regret it if you dont . if the doctor asks you if anyone has done something to you you MUST tell them the trueth , if you were even sick or dizzy after drinking something tell the doctor !!! if you dont remember something , tell them .

This sometimes happens with younger girls such as yourself.
If you are outside or have been involved in an activity with dirt or any bad germs, then urinate, the germs could transfer from your hands up your urethra, and it causes an infection. That would explain the hurting when you pee.

As for the bumps, I'm not sure. allergic reaction to a body wash you used recently?

I recommend washing your hands BEFORE urinating. Get all the bad little germs off of your hands.

tell your mom to take you to the doctor cause that's not normal, you'll probably need some sorta medicated creams or pills

GOOD LUCK

a_girl_loven_life
You actually don't pee out of your clitoris. The clitoris is higher than your urethra. And your urethra is not inside your body. As for the bumps, it might be a heat rash. Try wearing cotton underwear and perhaps using baby powder in the morning and at night in that area. Also, use very soft soaps in that area, like caress or dove. Do NOT use anti-bacterial soap. If it hurts when you pee, you should talk to your doctor and if the bumps don't go away, you should do the same, but don't get too worked up about it, I am sure it isn't a big deal.

talk to your parents if you are not sexually active you won't get in trouble they can take you to a Doctor it could be serious don't be embarrassed to tell your parents but you may want to ask your mom or an older woman you are close to because it could get kind of awkward

shystar_fish
No I don't think this is weird... you need to tell your mom and then consult a doctor... things like these are not to be ignored..

Don't you just hate these personal questions we have to ask? First, your Clitoris and the Ureter what some call the pee hole opening are not the same. You can find out for yourself. Next time you urinate, cover the Clitoris, you will still pee. Go lower and pay close attention to the area you will feel a small opening. This is your "pee hole". I am thinking that if you were sexually active, there may be a chance that you have contracted genital warts. Only a Dr. could diagnose that for sure. Burning sensation when you pee is often a bladder infection. Go to your Dr. or a clinic and let them do a test. You will not worry so much and they will have any medications that you can take to either cure the situation, or at least manage it. Sweetie, I know that you are young, and it is embarrassing to talk to people at times. But let your mom, or a big sister, someone, know, and listen to them. I hope it turns out to be a rash, or maybe just a symptom of a bladder infection. Hope you get better.

something to do with Cancer. report it to your mom & she can take you to the doctor. to make sure.

it could be a common problem that can be cleared up and if your comfortable with telling your parents then you need to so that you can go and get checked out

This is something that you need to discuss with your gynecologist. It can be any number of reasons. If you are not cleansing your vagina properly, or if you wear underwear with dye, tight fitting underwear, or if you are using regular soap. Use a non-soap cleanser such as summer's eve feminine wash. It is Gentle and helps regulate moisture.

starlover2222
You need to go and see a DR right away..... This is not a question for yahoo because there isn't a single person who can tell you what it is if we can't see it...... Only a DR will be able to help you with that........... Please go ASAP...........

I would ask a Doctor,so you can get a best answer.

this may sound gross, but it could be from your panties. when it gets moist down there, and you have your panties on all day, it could irritate it and cause a rash or bumps and it burns when you pee because your urine has all kinds of stuff in it that makes it burn when it comes out. i have had this before. i bought some yeast infection cream and put it on there and the pain went away and so did the bumps after a day or two. you can even get the off brand, thats what I did, it works the same. it has an anti-Fungal in it that makes the rash go away. i hope you get to feeling better

january.leigh
It's probably not that big of a deal, hunnie. It could be a urinary Tract infection, a yeast infection, or it could have been caused by too much masturbation. I know that a lot of girls don't want to hear that, but I've had that same problem, and it turned out to be an infection caused bu too much stimulation to the clitoris.

Probably an infection. Usually pain with urination is a urinary Tract infection. You can get them from sexual activity BUT it is common and can occur in all ages, including children.

But get it checked by a doctor. Don't be embarrassed about it. If it is a UTI, it is very common. They can give you medication for it. Or if its something else, its good to have it looked at.
