The first time (when your hymen is broken) it hurts a lot, but many woman find it extremely pleasurable after that. Tampons can be uncomfortable for any women...the finger thing is strange. Did you have enough lube (either the lube you make naturally or artificial lube?). If not it would definitely be painful. Luckily most condoms come pre-lubed so that might help. That's it. If you're all tense, things will be tense down there. My first time, it did hurt at first, then I forgot about the discomfort. Just relax and take your time. Also, maybe you aren't truly ready and you're just using the pain as a good excuse. You don't need an excuse if you aren't ready yet. You just say "no" I'm not ready. When your body is aroused and receptive to a man, it will more readily allow penetration. On the question of before or after marriage... that's your choice. I believe making love is about how you feel about each other, and a marriage certificate doesn't make you love your partner more. And no matter what people tell you, marrying you doesn't prove he loves you.
