Now if you didn't use protection and he "pulled out", it's not the safest way to protect yourself from getting pregnant because there are sperm in "pre-***(nut)" so that can escape at anytime during sex. If you didn't feel anything inside, more than likely you're not pregnant. If you use birth control regularly, you can't get pregnant. A woman ovulates once during just about every cycle (about two weeks after the first day of your last menstrual period, give or take a few days depending on your particular cycle) and the ovum (egg) can live for about a day. A man's sperm can live up to 7 days inside a woman's reproductive organs so if he ejaculates during that fertile period, you can possibly conceive. Your vaginal environment must also be optimal for the sperm to live, as they are smaller than the eggs, more sensitive, and will die off unless the environment is alkaline, which occurs around ovulation (your ovaries produce an egg). As for pre-ejaculate and his ejaculating outside of you, well, it's remotely possible but not highly likely. Pre-ejaculate doesn't have as high a sperm count as a full ejaculation, no matter what the public service folks will have you believe. It's also worth noting that it isn't as easy as they'd have you believe to get pregnant "standing up". Even sperm are not excused from the laws of gravity. This doesn't mean it can't happen or that you shouldn't take precautions if you don't want to have a baby right now. Like I said, it's possible but not highly likely.
