The ova is being released during your period and your uterine lining is leaving the body so that makes no sense at all. Sure its POSSIBLE always but it doesn't make it MORE likely for sure. That's just dumb. Some guys think having sex while a girl is on her period disgusting as most people have been expressing. A girl is very horny during her period so if they are both comfortable with it I say go for it. Most guys think its gross. I think its gross too.

MB	I know in some culture it is viewed as being unclean. However, in the western world I know some women refrain because of the mess while others will do it in the shower. I don't. I don't want anyone down there at that time.
julvrug	It is no different than any other time of the month you just need to be a little more creative. Use a Diaphragm or the shower, for those who have bad cramping it will actually help lessen the cramps.

C S	I'd warn you that "female stuff" usually grosses guys out, so a lot of guys wouldn't be too keen. There's nothing unhealthy about it, though, but keep in mind that menstruation isn't a guarentee you can't get pregnant right then, either.

lisab	Whatever floats your boat. Use a towel or do it in the shower works best and only if your partner is into it. It helps my cramps but I only do it towards the end of my cycle not the first or 2nd day.
