The short answer: yes.
The longer answer:
(1) You don't catch any sort of infections (like STDs) from masturbating (the "technical" term for such touching)
(2) As long as your hands are clean, you won't catch anything else, either
(3) It's a normal part of your developing sexuality and is actually safer than other forms of sex, especially at your age...no risk of disease, no risk of pregnancy, and none of that emotional entanglement that you're almost certainly too young for....but it still is pleasurable.

its ok just make sure you wash your hands well before touching yourself so you wont infect anything and wait several years before including any boys your still to young for that and i know this is embarassing but you could always go talk to your mom. its as embarassing for her as it is for you but im sure she would like you to have the right information rather than listening to a bunch of people who may or may not know what they are talking about

What you're doing and feeling are perfectly normal. It's natural to want to explore your own body, and enjoy the sensations that result.
As for inserting your fingers (and will you get an infection) it's probably best to make sure your hands are absolutely clean before engaging in this activity.
It's also probably a good idea to speak to one of your parents, or an older sister about what you're doing and how it makes you feel. While only you can decide what's "right" or "wrong" for you, your family might also have some wisdom they'd like to share with you on the matter.

At thirteen your coming into puberty!Of course your going to be curious about your body. I have a 13 year old.If she asked me that question I would tell her....There is no shame in discovering your body.Keep yourself clean. 13 is to young to have sex.I would much rather her explore her own body.

Number one, when your preschool "boyfriend" touched you there, you should have told an adult. That is wrong..plus when you are that young, you don't know what that means. An adult should have straighted both of you out if you were touching each other like that at such a young age..preschool..come on, parents should know about that to educate you.
Anway, masterbation, which is what you are doing, is ok. It is perfectly normal. You won't go to hell, you wont contract some disease, or somethin from doing that. Just MAKE SURE you wash your hands, before you touch yourself down there....especially when you put your fingers inside. Just make sure, if you touch your butt (you may not see the bacteria that could be on your fingers) make sure you wash your hands extremely well before you touch your vaginal area. If you dont wash your hands everytime you touch or insert fingers, you are at risk for a urinary Tract infection or a baterial infection. These are cureable but painful.
I feel its better to explore yourself and pleasure yourself, than to be messing around with boys and having sex at such a young age.
