There is nothing wrong with you. Its called puberty. You have to wait for your time to come. Puberty is a natural stage in life and you must be patient. You are what people would call a "late bloomer" . I was one too. Dont feel bad, it just takes time to grow. BE PATIENT

My friend got her's when she was 15.
It also might depend on when your mother or grandmother got theirs.

there is no way to make it come faster my sister and lots of my friends didn't get theirs until they were almost 14. it just depends on your body. a lot of the time you get it around the time you get around 100 pounds.

There is nothing wrong with you. I got mine when I was well into 12. Don't worry about it, your body just isn't there yet.
Enjoy life with out your period while you can! The novelty wears off pretty quickly once you get it.

Um nothing is wrong. And trust me I am a girl and we all go through this. in the fifth grade they talk to the boys in girls about how their bodies are changing. Blah, blah, blah. But the woman that we had teach us said that if you don't get your period by age 16 their could be something wrong with your female organs. But i wouldn't worry about it much until you get age 15 then i would go see a physician. But you have 3 years to go and i am sure a lot of growning up to do. : )~

everybody's body is different, you will get your period when your body is ready for it. you should be happy you don't have to deal with them yet, they are not as wonderful as you think.

That's perfectly normal.
I know someone who got their periods around as late as 16.
So don't worry 13 is really young still.
Don't be pressured to want it.
Believe me, it's not all that fun.
:] So it's completely normal.
Don't try and make it come faster just flow with it.
Everyone has a different time.

no nothing is wrong, but I'm guessing you already knew that. look I'm thirteen and got my period and it's skipped a month. Idk if I even really have it or not. People can range from 9 to 16 years old of getting their periods.
the only way to speed up a period is take estrogen, which is a not a great thing, or eat lots of fattening foods. see hormones are in fats, so that's why bigger girls develope earlier than others.
just give it time, my mom didn't start til she was fourteen.

All people develop at a different time. It isn't unnatural for it not to have happened yet. Just wait. Thats all you can do.

Do you want to know something kind of strange? You usally have your period the same time or age as your mother did. Or possibably on an avrege a year before. Maybe try to sit down with your mother and talking this over. Why you think you're period is late (which it is'nt) or try " mom when was the first time you had your period ? Its is important for me to know because it wil help me figure out when mine may come."
You can also go to your doctor and he/she can look at your chart of height, weight etc. and give you a good estimate of when your time might come along.
i hope I helped!!

No, there isn't a way to get your period faster. You just have to wait. My cousin got her period at high school sophomore year at the latest. Don't worry. If you start to become moody, get tummy aches and head aches, you know it's coming..so be prepared.
