But, seriously, you will get very sick and could wind up hospitalized.
Your metabolism-(body's way to burn calories), will slow down to nothing, leaving you tired and sick.
If you think you may not be able to control when and how much you eat, try going outside and taking a walk, or some other physical activity: doing laundry, washing the floor...
Don't starve yourself; believe me, I KNOW. You will seriously regret it. Take care of and love yourself. Talk to somebody you trust about this. It won't go away by itself!

Well, it's impossible to just STOP EATING, you'll die. Not even anorexic people do that. However, eating in controlled calories can change you weight around a lot. Have you ever seen those 100 calorie packs? Those are good to eat because you know whats in it.

Your body would start using any fat you had stored. When all your fat is gone, your body will start feeding on your muscles. You will be very weak and not look good at all. Your eyes will sink back in your head and you will look really scary. This is probably not wha tyou want to hear, but there are way better ways to lose ways or look differnt... they just take a little more time. Girls die from anorexia all the time.

So...you think The Aushcwitz look is sexy, eh? Wrong! the less you eat, the more your body will feel like it is starving, and the more intensely it will hold on to whatever fat it has left. Eat sanely rather than not eating at all. Eat big at breakfast, less at lunch, and less at dinner, with one, or two, small snacks in between meals. Stop eating at least two hours before bedtime. Eat less fat, salt, grease, sugar. Eat more protein. Exercise. Do some aerobics (walking, etc), and some anerobics; such as weightlifting. Avoid running/jumping as they put too much stress on ankles and knees. Stop emotional eating. Do not eat when you feel: angry, sad, depressed, but find something other than food to occupy you at such times. Take up needlepoint, or some other handicraft work. Get a signifigant other. Reach for a mate instead of a plate.

you'll look flabby and undefined and you will hardly lose weight because your body will try to store whatever it can to survive off of. if you want to be skinny you need to eat very small portions of food, maybe 6 times throughout the day. that keeps your metabolism running so that it can burn. you burn more by eating than by not eating. also, you'll need to work out or dieting won't achieve anything.
instead of sitting there not eating anything, try eating fresh fruits and veggies, limited starches, baked chicken, and cut all unatural sugars and oils from your diet. also, endurance training, like long distance jogging/running and biking. this is what 99% of models do.

First don't stop eating because you lose your nutrients and also can dehydrate. Just cut your calories, stop eating junk food or fast food. Drinks lots of water and walk for exercise. If you stop eating you will put your body into starvation mode and you can actually gain weight instead of losing weight (personal experience). Best of luck to you!

The second you start eating again, you're body is going to bloat up worse than how it was when you started.
By the way, you're weight is perfect for your age and height.
Also, with that amount of time you might *die*. Just a warning.
And you might not lose any weight or look any different. It depends on your body and metabolism.

PLease do not do it i did it because i wanted to lose wait fast just like u and nothing happened i just lost like 1 pound but it was a pain in the *** because i got real sick. i didnt eat nothing for days but water and like an apple and thats it and i whould work out on top of that. but till this day my health is all jacked up because i did that to my self. please dont do it its not worth it just try the cardiac diet that wroks really really good and you lose wait real quick. you lose 10 pounds in 3 days but u have to follow all the steps.

yeah. i tried this, and it went on and off for about 4 months. im just saying that it will ruin your metabolism, and i can almost gurantee that if you want to stay as thin as you get in january, you're going to have to eat like that [[or not eat like that]] the rest of your life. when i went through this it really sucked. it was more of anorexia for me, and not just a fast. i would excersize compulcivly, and eat around 250 calories a day.
it made me drop to like...95 pounds starting at like...110ish.
tips: dont do it
2) eat rice cakes
3) pickles
4) drink bottles and bottles of water each day
but seriously, there is no way that your body can live off of nothing until the 10th. its crazy. im warning you, you will feel weak like no other. JUST EXCERSIZE IT OFF

No probably not. You will become dehydrated for one. I can imagine that all the vitamins you are losing would make you look sick, so yeah you would look different but not good. Try a diet instead.

You obviously have an eating disorder or are developing one. It's called anorexia.
I'd spend more time trying to work on your mental health rather than the energy destroying your physical health. Learn to accept yourself for who you are and care less what others think.
Even if you lose weight, you aren't going to feel good about yourself because you'll be exhausted, cranky and sick from not eating. You'll gain it all back once you start eating again anyways. It's all water weight that you lose.
Try loving you for you first before you shut down your organs and do some permenant damage.

If you stop eating for 2 weeks, you'll look very different...dead.
Not to mention the damage that you'll do to your body (liver and kidneys).
A fair amount of your fat reserves and most of your muscles will have atrophied to provide enough energy to sustain your body until failure.
And let's say you stop before you die, the loss of muscles along with your body's self-defense mechanisms will have substantially lowered your metabolism. You'll put weight back on in no time when you start eating again.
This question is officially the dumbest I've read. I refuse to provide tips, other than PLEASE SEE A DOCTOR.

You would lose weight but as soon as you drink water or have something to eat you'll gain it right back. If you need to lose weight quickly, I would eliminate all carbs. I've done it numerous times. You can lose 10lbs in about a week and it is a little more healthier and stablier than not eating at all.

you would actually look bigger because when you stop eating your body takes over and trys to store the fat that is left in your body and all of the water will absorb into your belly and will make it poof out.
if you want to look different then eat three small meals and either work out or walk daily because you will start to detox all that wonderful holiday food (NOT)
not eating would actually make you look bigger then if you were to eat healthier because your body needs a slow change from the holiday foods to be able to tone down.

food helps keep your body in balance, and when it doesnt get it, it turns to stored fat/energey. which will ultimatly backfire
espacially when you start eating again

DONT STOP EATING! that causes a chemical imbalence in the brain from lack of food leading to depression then suicide and your body cant handle not eating and a WHO CARES ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT! (my friends older sister DIED because of it!)

You want to know what will happen? You will lose weight, and when you start eating again because, let's face it, you have to eat to live you will gain even MORE weight because your body will want to hold on to the food because it thinks you won't feed yourself again for a long time.
Get the hell over it and go to the gym. You want to look better, you have to work hard not starve for 4 days. Go to the gym, eat healthy, and in about 1.5 months you will see results.

i stopped eating for a week, i got dehydrated, and could not digest food at all, everything i tried to eat, i threw up, i had to go on medication.
now i'm overweight.
did it work? sure. i lost some weight. i looked great inbetween puking. the weight was temporary and not a real solution.

Of course fasting works. I'm not an expert but I'd estimate you could expect to loose up to 10 pounds of weight a week by "pure" fasting. That is a water only diet. The average body in order to support basic life functions needs to burn approximately 1200 calories daily.
Fasting is extremely difficult, and requires great discipline over the course of one week. Don't substitute eating for consuming wheat or sugar juices (both are popular fasting methods but only result in substituting one form of calories for another). Be sure to keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
While fasting for a period of 1 week may not be life-threatening, most dieters will not be able to tolerate the hunger pangs for so long. The issue with fasting is that your body's metabolism will also slow down so that fewer calories are burned per day making future weight loss through other means more difficult (I've heard this claim but am doubtful of its validity). Also in place of burning fat your body will eventually begin to burn proteins (muscle tissue) so that you'd take on an unnaturally unappealing shape (think Anorexia nervosa). Don't believe the hype that fasting is medically bad for you over short periods of time. It may or may not be, some medical researchers will even claim that fasting promotes health but the research has not been validated.
I'm worried about you developing anorexia, but do believe that improving your self esteem is important so I'm not going to criticize your desire to loose weight. If anything talk to your parents and hopefully a medical professional about your concerns. There are other probably better solutions for example jogging regularly. Come to think of it, wouldn't hurt much to get into an exercise routine while fasting. Exercising while fasting will help burn calories faster.
I'm sincerely thankful you decided to ask for help even if it is from the yahoo! community rather than to simply go ahead and fast with ignorance.
