Possibly, but it could be she just needs to wash. If you are concerned, use a condom. And, for your info--females were created to have this "scent of the sea" for a reason. It is an attraction to men, because back in Biblical times, most real men were fishermen, who were attracted to the salty seas. Even newborn baby girls have this scent. (DON'T go a-sniffin!). Anyway, I hope I just educated you and others like you. |

More than likely it means you have a serious infection you should go have it checked out right away, because it can cause serious problems with you health in the future if you don't catch it now. You can get these type of infections from having sex with a man who is having a lot of sex with different women. |

Nope, means she made need to pay more attention to the vagina when she takes a bath. It could mean many different things. She doesn't necessarily have to take a douche -- this is only needed if a physician recommends it because too much douching can dry out the vagina. Could be a yeast infection. When women take medication, we really should flood our bodies with water -- especially if she is taking an antibotic. Could mean she has contracted something from a nasty penis! |

could mean she needs some soap or a good douche |

Not necessarily. She may just need a bath. There also may be an underlying infection...yeast, bacterial vaginosis etc but not necessarily an STD. Bottom line...if it stinks stay away from it. |

LOL, maybe she doesn't bathe or has an infection. It doesn't necessarily mean she has stds. Either way I would steer clear of that area! |

A strong odor can be a sign of infection, not necessarily an STD. However some woman have a strong odor naturally. If you have always had the odor I wouldn't worry, but if it's come on suddenly then you should get checked out. Make sure you are keeping yourself clean and getting annual examinations. |

Womens' vagina's can smell for all different types of reasons. It could be an STD, yeast infection, bacterial infection or it could just be that she is sweaty which can cause odors too. Every woman's body is different and some just have problems with odors. There are problems to fix that though. If this question is about someone in particular, tell her to get checked out by her Dr. or try some feminine odor products. |

Every woman has a distinct "smell" down there. Possibly the scent doesn't appeal to your limbic system. Ohterwise she may need to bathe, is having her period, or is about to, or has some underlying infection, like vaginosis or a yeast infection. |
