Constant_Traveler	Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. It can range from mild learning disabilities to retardation and deformations. I have met a lot of children effected by this and I want to personally smack their selfish mothers who thought that one night of partying was more importanted then the entire life of their baby. Of course if you are asking because you just found out you were pregnant and you have been drinking then I really don't know. I would go to a doctor. Britanie	F A S its a disease that is horrible i learned about it in health and the children cant read even if you drink a bit or your husband had drunk before/during you got pregnant the child will be a slow talker and cant learn anything really-it will be able to talk and comprhend things but it will never read write or learn the alphabet or numbers. plus theres other things to like sids(sudden infant death syndrom)(but then it wouldnt be considered that since the doctors would no it was caused due to drinking well pregnant) talk to your doctor s/he can give you more information to this concern and others Was this answer helpful to you? TheExpert	The baby will develope improperly, if you love your child, you won't do it... and babies that do survive it go throught nasty withdrawls, because their bodies crave it, they grow up cranky, and the baby won't know what it wants until it get alcohol inside it's body.
