Ingrown hairs most likely. Your skin is probably irritated, since you didn't use lotion or shaving cream, and that's what is causing you to itch.

Well shaving yourself down there dry would really irritate your sensitive skin. That irritation could give you red bumps and they would itch. Get some unscented vaseline and rub it into your skin but not into your vaginal area. Just lightly rub it on the skin that's dry and itchy. That should help you feel better.

Next time you should use shaving cream and a brand new razor <never a dull one> And put baby oil on to soothe it so it won't itch as bad

Ok the red bumps are razor bumps from where either 1 or maybe 2 of 2 things happened:
1)You didn't use shaving cream, that's obviously a contributor.
2)You shaved the wrong way. Simply meaning you may have shaved upward, and maybe too hard, and it caused razor bumps. they will go away but next time use shaving cream.

I did that about a month ago. It is completly normal for it to itch, try baby powder and keep it dry. IT should go away in about 3 days. Also, as perverted as this sounds, i slept naked and it completly relieved the itchiness. I think it is because the hair rubs against your clothes and irriates the skin. I dont no, good luck IT WILL GO AWAY!!!

that happened to me too once, your skin is just sensitive, ecspecially 'downstairs' as you put it. and it's because the new hair coming in is spiky and irritating, and it will go away once it gets longer.

Don't worry, nothing is wrong. Since you didn't use anything to protect your skin, you upset the "area"
The exact same thing happens to me and I'm 13. So, unless we are both dying of some weird skin cancer, we both should be fine :]]

It could be a shavers rash. Is it similiar to what you get on your legs when you use a dull razor?
Hair on that region is much coarser so it needs a cream or lotion to be used when shaving or you will get ingrown hairs more easily. It's actually quite irriating. Try a drug store to see if they have an 'after shave' for WOMEN (not for men) that is typically made of a smoothing butter or aloe that soothes the ingrown hairs. Next time, I would definietly recommend using a lotion that is appropriate for that region (read the labels and make sure it's good to go there) or go to a professional and perhaps get it waxed (It's relatively cheap depending what you want.. but keep in mind it kinda hurts too).

shaved to close the first time. it will itch until the follicles poke through the layer of skin that has closed over them. Shave with the grain next time and use sensitive skin shaving cream and a new razor.

It is always important to use a new razor. Suggest using talcum powder to ease the itch.

Nothing is wrong. The first time you shave there, it does itch, you get used to it after a few times and your skin doesn't itch anymore. By not using shaving cream, or soap, or lotion, you irritated the skin even more. It should go away in a day or two, but you may get ingrown hairs for shaving so carelessly. Be careful and use something to help soothe your skin!!

Why didnt you use anything to shave with?!?!
Next time shave with hair conditioner. This may sound odd but its packed with moisturizer and it helps tremendously cut down on irritation, rash, and itch.
