If you put it in correctly, you will not feel it. Since it hurts when you sit, it might not be in far enough. Maybe pull it out, throw it away, and insert a new one, this time farther in?
Btw, wear a pantiliner in case it leaks while you're trying to figure out how often to change it and stuff...

yes, dont worry about it.Try to use the regular size first, and remeber to change them every 4 hrs. Ive been using them for years and ive never had a problem with them. Its probably your vagina muscles getting used to them.

It might not be in far enough if you feel discomfort while you're sitting, try pushing it in a little bit further with a finger or if you're uncomfortable with that take it out and try with a new one.
You shouldn't feel a tampon at all when it's in properly.

Push it up a little farther, and yes it is normal to not feel the tampon at all. That is the whole joy of being able to use tampons:)

Yes its normal to feel a little discomfort when you sit down. It is, after all holding blood. Your not supposed to feel it either, that is the beauty of it, although the pressure pushing down, will most likely give you cramps so i advise you to take an asprin or Tylenol.

you are not supposed to feel it. it does feel a little uncomfortable THE FIRST few times you use one. but if it still hurts after several times then consult an adult or a doctor. and thats great the if feels comfortable when you walk around because it is supposed to feel comfortable. good luck. it probably hurts because it is dry at the moment but once it collects more fluids it shouldnt hurt

You have not have inserted it far enough into your vagina. When you are sitting down you are probably feeling it pressing down. A properly inserted tampon should not be felt at all, standing or sitting. Try again and make sure the finger grip of the tampon is pushed all the way up into your body before you pull it out. Don't worry, you'll be a pro in no time. Just takes some getting used to.

yeah,
if its your first time.
usually if you sit and it hurts, you probably pushed it up too high.
and that is the point of the tampon,
for you not to feel it.

the more fluid that fills up the fibers, the less you'll notice it when you sit down. it's just a little dry at the moment.

no not if it hurts when you sit...you didnt put it in far enough. next time you have to put the applicator in all the way and then push it in. if it hurts at all it is not in correctly.

That is probably normal for your first time. But make sure it is as far up as you can get it. Then if it still hurts, don't worry. It will get to where you don't notice it.
Hey, "No More Mr Nice Guy"!!! She put it under women's health! What else do you want? Just don't read it if you see something in the title that you don't like!! You really live up to your name, don't you?

Yes! It may not be in far enough and that is why you feel it when you sit. Sometimes that happens to me and I have been using them for years. Try putting the next one in a tiny bit further and that should relieve the discomfort when you sit!
