Yes I have this issue....I've given up on shaving just cuz I don't have the time, but occassionally I go to a salon and get a wax. It is not that painful after the first time. This usually lasts at least 1-2 weeks. You can also buy kits to wax at home, but I've always had trouble doing it myself. I've also tried those lotions like Nair that get rid of hair, but they never worked all that great for me...they also feel and smell kinda weird. I suggest getting waxed rather than shaving.

put lotion on to keep your legs smooth..idk why but it keeps it from growing back sooner.
also after you get out of the shower get warm as soon as possible, becasue your hair stands up when you grow so if your cold when you get out of the shower your legs will get prickly right then.

theres a couple of theings you can do
1. you can try waxing this will cause your hairs to grow back thinner and thinner the more and more you keep on waxing!
you can also apply alot of lotion to keep it from coming that can also sooth the pours of your legs and slow down the process of growing!
2 . you can use a electric razor and if you use it eveyday that can also slow down the process!
hope i helped sweetie!
thanks
melissa!!!

Waxing helps because it pulls the hair out by the root.
You should buy the electronic tweezer. Its sold at drug stores and department stores.I believe its called the Epilator. It is the size of an electric razor. It pulls hair out by the root. Its a little painful but it works.

I used to have the same problem. Stop shaving so much. the more you shave the faster it will grow. i wont shave for about 5 days. It doesn't grow as thick and i also don't get lil bumps and and scars from shaving over the bumps anymore.

I know I have this problem too! It sucks. Waxing works well during the winter, but you have to let your hair grow out for a few weeks. I don't like to do it in the summer because my legs are showing most of the time. Other suggestions would be to shave your legs in the morning instead of evening...maybe you already do. It can help to skip a few days. When you let the hair grow out a bit you get a closer shave. Hope this helps!

I bought an emjoi epislim epillator for like $20 at Walmart, and used it on my legs. It took FOREVER to get all the hair off initially, but since it takes it from the root like plucking, it didn't grow back for quite a long time. Every few days, I will just "touch up" my legs with it, but its so much easier than shaving if you can stand the pain. Although now it doesn't hurt at all because I have done it so much. Another thing you could try is waxing. That never worked for me though, but maybe if you could find a good wax it might work.

Heck yeah...in winter, I don't worry about it as much, because I live in a cold climate, and nobody eve sees my legs! But in summer and such, I take a shower every day, even if I don't wash my hair. It becomes routine, really, unless you want to pay for hair removal.

I know what you mean! I know this sounds painful, but waxing actually does work and it keeps the hair gone for a lot longer than shaving. If you can stand it- wax. The creams and stuff just melt your hair off and sometimes irritate your skin. Tweezing would take a year- so waxing is probably your best and most effective choice.

The more you shave, the more you will have to. If you just let it go for a week and wear pants, you can shave once a week and your hair will start to grow more slowly, be much finer, and will be much less noticeable. It will take a couple of months though. Another option of course is waxing. It will do the same thing, but it hurts.

The belief that shaving more frequently will cause hair to grow quicker and thicker is actually false. The reason this appears and feels to be so is because the hair is being removed at its thickest part (the shaft) rather than at the thin, wispy tip.
I also have to shave my legs every day and have actually asked several dermatologists about this issue. Basically, hair thickness and growth rate are genetic, unless you have a hormone imbalance. You can get a simple blood test at the gynecologist's office to test for high levels of Testosterone; however you probably just were cursed with the hairy gene.
Laser hair removal is the only safe option for nearly permanent removal; however it is VERY expensive. I actually just had a laser hair removal consult for my lower legs (knees down), and it would cost $2000 dollars. Guess I should stock up on razors...

TRY BRAUN silk epil
IT SHAVES THE HAIR FROM THE ROOTS.
IT WON'T GROW BACK TILL 4 WEEKS.
YOU WILL HAVE RED SKIN 1ST TIME YOU TRY IT BUT IT WILL FEEL BETTER THE NEXT TIME YOU TRY IT.
IT IS BETTER TO SHAVE WHEN THE HAIR IS TINY.
THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS LIKE!!
this kind is the best.

Just keep shaving. If you use lotion every day, it will soften the hair follicles, which will make it less noticeable when the hair starts growing back. Or, you can wax them, which pulls the hair out under the skin, rather than cutting it off at the surface. This last longer than shaving. Another option is Nair, or something like it, which dissolves the hair under the skin, and also lasts longer than shaving.
Also, after you shave, dry your legs as soon as possible. Goose bumps are the cause of lots of pricklies.
