You can not make it start. It wil happen when it is ready. Do not worry about it. When your period starts might be important to you at your age, but believe me when I say, once it happens it will just be one more milestone in your life that you will forget.
It will be ok, do not try to make it happen any sooner, it will happen when your ready.

I'm turning 13 soon and I used to feel the SAME way. "Why am I the only one?" Seriously, EVERYONE in my entire grade has gotten it, probably even kids in lower grades, except me!
But then I realized that it's probably just another obstacle, another pain to deal with. Plus, it is probably very annoying and even mildly embarrassing when you ask to go to the bathroom a million times a day, or if you're the only one walking in PE while everyone else is running. Sure, you might be the only one, like me, but really, believe what everyone else says: "You're lucky! It's such a pain!"
Yes, I know, it's harsh. I get envious, too, you know. But just today there was this girl in my class who started a few weeks ago, and this other girl who had it now. Both of them were doubled over during PE, moaning and saying that the cramp hurt SOOO much.
So take your time to be carefree and enjoy it before it's over!
Plus some girls don't even get it 'til 16. It's normal, trust me.

You can't make it start and BELIEVE ME, once it comes, you will have it for a VERY LONG TIME. As a woman who has had hers for years, you are NOT missing anything. If your friends are talking about it, don't feel left out. Use this opportunity to ask them questions like "What are the downsides of having your period? Have you had any accidents yet? Focuses on the fact that you are CAREFREE right now - when you get your period, you get the cramps, the pain, the embarrassing accidents, the inconveniences, the list goes on and on....

there is absolutely no way to make something that is natural happen faster, especially something like this. it is something that you will just have to wait patiently for, and trust me, when you finally get it, you may not be as excited that you've finally gotten it after having it for awhile.....

There is nothing you can do to speed up this process, and trust me you shouldn't want to its a horrible experience. Don't you realize you are gonna have this horrible curse for about 40 or 50 years of your life! Be happy you don't have it yet, and pray you are one of those late bloomers who get it at 16 or 17.

i felt the same way, i didn't start my period until the summer before freshman year in HS. Consider yourself lucky; even though you feel left out. Girls who start their periods later tend to be thinner. I lost a lot of weight after mine came. Don't try to induce it, let nature take it's course.

Oh hunny. You do not want to make it start! Believe me! When you get it, you will understand why! You are lucky to not have that to deal with right now.
But, I am a nurse, and I am telling you, there is NO WAY to make that happen.
Sorry.

Don't try and make it start! Its unpleasant, trust me. I was 12 when I got mine and I am thankful now that I had so many comfortable years.
But if it doesn't start before your 15th bday see your doctor.

The only thing that could make your period start sooner, besides nature would be hormone therapy. However, I don't think it's worth the bloody mess just so you can join in a few conversations. Your body knows what it's doing... it's best not to mess with it.

Are you ok? Mentally? Why would you WANT your period? It sucks. I got mine on a road trip in the middle of Alaska...that bombed.
Then you've got cramps and back pain and having to use a tampon for the first time and if you forget to bring some when you go swimming...

You can't make it start.
Trust me - it's a pain! Both literally and figuratively.
Be grateful you don't have it yet. I'm sure it'll start soon.
Ask your mother when she started hers; odds are, you'll be around the same age.
