K... well in june 24th I had some lightish brown stuff in my undies and it wasn't a lot. The next day same thing a little more tho .:then the 26th more. the 27th I was taking a shower when I came...

K... well in june 24th I had some lightish brown stuff in my undies and it wasn't a lot. The next day same thing a little more tho .:then the 26th more. the 27th I was taking a shower when I came out I wiped myself 'down there' and it was brown I wiped myself w/ toilet paper instead and brown came out. Then later on that day I wiped myself again but DIDN'T use the washroom can u guess wat it was more brown w/ a little bit of blood. It lasted from June 24 - June 27th or 28th

Was it my period???? Only answer if ur close to for sure or correct. I want to know! I have to be prepared for this month!!!

Ms. Presley	Ya that's definately what it sounds like, lasted 4 days, even flow. you didn't state if you had any stomach cramps (even a few days before you noticed the discharge/blood) or a headache, if you did then for sure it was your period. also be prepared that you may not get it the same time this month because your first couple periods or even first year most commonly is irregular, so don't freak out if it doesn't come. You can also see a doctor to see for sure but sure as heck sounds like a period to me.

alem.incrivel	this has happened to me before ; are you anywhere near the start of your cycle or are you just coming off? if so, that could be what it is ... it usually happens to me the week after my cycle goes off.

Sara C	Have you had your period before? If not, that could very well be it. Another question...are you sexually active? If you are sexually active it could have been implantation bleeding. If you are positive that you are not pregnant I would not have many concerns about it. Just keep tampons or pads/panty liners with you. Good luck!

mbcrazychick	yes that was defenally your period. mine had that brown stuff for a two days before blood came out. welcome to the society of the crimson wave surfers.! i hope yor period are happy ones. your periods mightbe a bit off at the beggining or they might be almost perfect in the time department. now you should always have a crimson wave emergency kit that has tampons ( if you want to use them) pads , panty liners, a extra pair of undies, maybe some pills for cramps or those self heating small things that can help. for more info go to geinggirl.com - it has great stuff. also you may want to record when it starts and ends so that you might have a clue as to when it is coming( that is if your period is regular) i hope i helped. good luck

Juliana	well it is probably your period, because usually before girls start to discharge, and when its closer to your period it will start being more and more like blood. just wear some pads and be prepared. i think it is your period

It's usually a small amount of blood mixed with discharge, so it has a dark color and a strange consistency. You should let your mom know. It doesn't sound as though it was a full blown period, more like heavy spotting. You may get a heavy period in a week, or you may not get anything for another few months. It takes a long time for most girls to get on a regular menstrual cycle. So let your mom know so you can go to the store and buy some pads. Melissa L	It definitely was your period. The first few times you get it, it may be brownish colored instead of bright red.

snickers	If that happens what I usually do....(gross:) is to take a q tip or a bit of toilet paper and sort of put a bit in my vagina to see if I'm getting my period......sometimes, it's just a little like you describe....brownish.....you did not mention if you are sexually active, but if you are, then maybe get a home test......Best I can do....hope something helped.

seejre	It sound like it is...How old are you? If this is your first period it sound about right. That is what happened to me with my first period, that was 14 years ago.

smilethenscream7	Yes, it was your period. Some girls have lighter periods than others. Consider yourself lucky! Also, you might want to drink more water. It could have been a yeast infection, but I doubt that it would have lasted that long. I say, definitely your period.

Trenisha	i think so....sometimes when blood is old (like...when its been inside you for a while) it turns a brownish color.
