You shouldnt be worried about your weight. However you should be worried about your health. There will be a time when your body will no longer adjust to the junk food you have been surviving off of and your waist line will go up and your health will go down. Your hormones will not work right either.... so think your skinny all you want now... you wont be 12 your whole life.

At age 12 you should be a happy camper and not be worrying about anything. As long as you feel you are doing your best to be your best and not doing something to deliberately hurt or harm yourself then you should take life in stride and enjoy being a kid. The thing people always seem to get wrong is that age means you should weigh whatever. Then they make the mistake that weigh means anything.
Weigh can be high or low, you can weigh a little and still be fat or weigh a lot and be fit. Remember muscle weighs more than fat.
In the end go by proportion. If you jiggle more than you think you should, probably fat. However if you are in proportion and have some definition to muscles and such you most likely aren't.
As for weight gain, I have bad news for you. You're 12. You're going to gain weight. Probably at least 50 lbs. Just try to keep the proportions normal.

Your weight is fine, but don't forget to stay active. The numbers aren't always the most important; a person can be 110 pounds, but not have a healthy body because they aren't active. If you think you're actually gaining weight currently, I would suggest walking a mile a day. It makes you feel so much better, and helps you maintain your weight.

Hi, Since you are 12 your body hasn't finished developing... in fact it has a long way to go. I honestly wouldn't worry about your weight right now. It is clearly no concern as people keep saying you are thin and the doctor has said you are normal weight.
Weight has been a big issue for me and you have to know that if your doctor gives you the all clear then he/she is right... not anyone else.
Just enjoy your childhood sweetie.

Well you should start getting into the habit of eating healthy, because the decisions you make when you are younger, effect you as an adult. I mean right now you have a metabolism becuase you are still young, but that metabolism is going to get weaker as you get older, and you will have to start watching your weight more. But you don't have to start being a health freak right away. Go ahead and enjoy candy while you can c:

i looked sick. it was just because i could not gain weight,

If the doctor says its normal, dont worry about it. I am fourteen years old, and im 5'5, only 90 pounds. Usually the explanation for this is a high metabolism. In my case, it also runs in my family since everyone Im related too started out skinny and ended up getting chubbier later on in life, if you think that you might have an issue absorbing Protein, Vitamins, or important nutrients ask your doctor about that. My mom has lost a lot of weight because she can't absorb anything from what she eats. You can also try weight gaining supliments and shakes if your really worried.

Don't be worried. Make sure you watch your weight. You want to eat healthy, and make sure you don't start getting overweight. If the doctor says it's normal, than you are find. you should cool it on the junk lol, try something healthy instead, stop worrying, you are fine, trust your Doc.
Wow, did you get a ton of answers or what? If you are worried abotu your weight still, try getting more exercise, if you are getting tons or exercise and are very active, there is no way you can still be worrying.
