Simply tell him. Short and sweet. No need to go into details. As a physical education teacher, he was required to take numerous science classes. If this was the 1950's, I could understand your reluctance. But things that were taboo back then, are really of little significance now. I doubt it would embarrass him. You are not his only student who experiences this biological occurrence. I am certain he has been approached before. Please do not be embarrassed by something that is so very natural. If you are that worried, hand him a note.

tell him you having problems and cant run. put emphasis on problems and he'll get it, because hes older and prolly has had to deal with it before. if not just say you have cramps, but if your too embarrassed say stomach problems.

You just tell them. Male teachers especially PE teachers know all about monthly periods. They had to take some Health classes. If not, have a parent or write the note yourself if you don't want to talk about it.

Just tell him you have cramps. He'll understand. There's nothing to be embarrassed about. He's probably had hundreds of girls telling him that they can't participate that day because of cramps. And if you still don't feel comfortable telling him that you have cramps, say you have a stomach ache and ask to go to the nurse. I used to do that a lot, and it worked just fine. Another option is to have your mom write you a note, I know that it can be a lot easier to just hand a piece of paper to him instead of talking to him. Good luck! And, remember, most girls get cramps, so don't be ashamed!

Tell him you have cramps. All I had to do was mention cramps and my male PE teacher had no further questions. He didn't even question when I had cramps every day of the month....

if you have a female Counselor, take with her first and see if she can write a letter to the teacher. If not, then you have to write a letter or a note to him explaining that for a time each month, that you are incapable of performing to your fullest physical ability, and that physical exertion is painful. If possible, get it signed by your doctor and talk to him in private. explain to him that it hurts and offer to do extra work when you are not incapacitated.
When you feel your time of the moth happening, stop by after class and talk with him, telling him that for the next few days(depends in how long your period is), you will be having your period. If it get to be a big problem(he ignoring you, pointing you out during class, etc.) talk with your principal/ dean.
Your natural body cycles should not inhibit your school experience

Just because of the pains, you shouldn't have to completely stop PE. Just tell the teacher that you get these pains monthly, and give an expectful understanding. Then, maybe he will have you kick it down a knotch.

Your PE teacher will be more than used to this! make sure you are convincing though because period pain is often just used as an excuse to get out of PE. dont be embarrassed, just say oh Mr ***** I am in a lot of pain today as it is my time of the month so is it Ok if i just sit out?

even if you do tell him. he's gonna tell you to do it anyway cuz exercise gets rid of period pain. If you use this as an excuse he's gonna think your just lazy.

just bring in a note from your mom stating that you are dealing with feminine pains and cannot participate. he won't ask questions, its embarrasing for him as well.

Exercising might help your cramps. Most teachers will not excuse you for having your period, as you get it every month. If you really must, just tell your teacher that you aren't feeling well enough to participate for that day.
