Nyx	No one can help how you feel because only you feel a certain way. But yes, it is normal to feel scared after having protected sex and then miss your period. I advise waiting a litlle longer because it's only been one period. So it's good that you are scared so it will moativate you getting checked. But if you're that worried get a check up now. Amy R	Well, if he was not careful handling you or the condom then he might have still gotten you pregnant. But don't freak out just yet - unless you are as regular as clockwork, your period can float a little depending on your stress level (which sounds a little high right now) and your diet and other women around you even! So you might be just a little late. But understand that only abstinence (and not handling him and him not handling you!) can guarantee no pregnancy 100%. That being said, you can talk to a Gynacologist (find a female one) and talk about exactly what you and your bf need to do to reduce your chance of pregnancy as much as possible moving forward. And you can get a pregnancy test kit pretty easily. But if you do turn out to be pregnant? Tell your folks right away, because they will find out and the later it is, the more trouble that is for you! Get one of the early-detection pregnancy tests and try it though (maybe get two because you might mess up the first one) and you will get some resolution on this issue before you make yourself crazy worrying about it! alysiaegan	Get a home preg test and make sure you use first morning urine (hormones are stronger then). Most tests work or are supposed to work up to a week before your cycle is to start. And even though not a part of your question I feel I should mention that it is your business and your life and your right but you should use protection, I know its hard during the heat of the moment to stop on put on or use anything but it's worth it, my daughter is 20mo and although I am so glad and blessed and happy I have her and cant imagine not having her (dont get me wrong) I took a huge risk getting preg and didnt even make it to term, so always protect yourself and dont worry it will all work out. matt p	You could be. But keep in mind women's periods are not like clockwise. Different things from your diet, to stress, to how active you are can regulate that too. babygrl	I wouldn't worry too much about it yet. You sound young. Your period could be late for all kinds of reasons like stress or change in diet. If you've recently just started getting your period in the last year or so it can take you a year or two to actually have a regular one. You should get on birth control something besides a condom to make sure you don't end up pregnant because a condom can break and then you are screwed. Betty T	If your period isn't due for another week, try to not stress over it until then, or you may delay it even more! I would wait to take a pregnancy test for a while, as it probably will not be accurate this early, even if you were pregnant!! If you used protection, you shouldn't be pregnant!! Having said that, please remember, that not only do you need to ALWAYS USE PROTECTION TO PREVENT PREGNANCY, BUT JUST AS IMPORTANTLY, TO PREVENT STD'S, WHICH ARE EVEN MORE RAMPANT TODAY THAN EVER BEFORE!!!!
