fuzedstar	If the string cannot be pulled, try digging it out (sounds gross, I know) but if you don't. you may get an infection or worse: toxic shock syndrome. If it is beyond reach, go to the ER. I had a friend who was in an ambulence and the guy putting the cathador in did not know she had a tampon in and the stupid guy didn't look and shoved it deeper. Before she left, she asked about it and they took it out. I told her she should have left it then came back to sew the idiots. You may want to stick with pads or panty-liners for awhile or hell: take a birth control pill to stop them alltogether. Well, maybe not alltogether but every few months or so. Jonah	ok relax, and don't panic. it's not gonna get 'lost' in you. go into the bathroom, relax your body completely and try not to tense up. the reason it's so hard to get out it because it's not 'full up'. just try and be as calm as possible and pull it out with the string. if you still can't do it, run a bath and try and do it in there. don't worry it will come out! good luck xx Was this answer helpful to you? mattie w	keep pulling the string until it comes out. if it dosnt tell your mom or a women adult, leaving it in could be very dangerous. also pushing the tampon in too far can cause you too loose your virginity. and i dont think you want that. i use the small ones too but i am little, and there is usually a string left, even if its almost all the way in. if not, make sure to tell someone and get it out. ellen degenitals	pull the string really there's no place for the tampon to "get lost". you just have to pull it out. my friend said she got one stuck, she had to "dig around" (her words not mine) with her fingers, she got it out but said she'd never wear tampons again. i guess that's what u'll have to do unless you want to make a gyno appt. btw what brand was it? lurbos18	This may sound crazy, but it has worked for me in the past. Take a long shower, or a bath. The water will eventually be soaked into the string, and will saturate the tampon making it much easier to remove. Also, if you get into a squatting position, it will shorten your vaginal canal and may make it easier to reach and/or "push" out. Good luck, happy fishing hahaha. sorry, I had to. Cabernet	Okay this happened to me once too, did you forget to pull out the string? you have to reach up with two fingers and yank it out, it's weird and uncomfortable, but if you dont you'll have to go to a doctor or let a friend do it. stand with one leg on the toilet and reach in. ♥	Try squatting over the bathroom floor and fishing it out with your thumb and pointer finger. It only has so far to go up there and if that doesn't work try using your finger to pull it down from the inside. It might be gross and messy, but at least it will get out. If you leave it in too long, you run the risk of getting Toxic Shock Syndrome and that can't be pleasant. In the future try only using tampons with strings. I don't get why they make them without! Steven's Love	If you can't find the string to pull it out and you can't feel it with your fingers then you need to go to the doctors right away. If the doctors office isn't open then go to the hospital immediately. Having a tampon in your body for too long is not good at all. It can cause so many problems. Plus if you can't find it then it may be somewhere it's not supposed to be. Next time stick to your normal brand. If you don't have any of your normal brand then go to the bathroom and by a pad until you can get a tampon. I know pads can feel quite gross, but it's better than having this happen again.
