you need to go to the doctor like yesterday, i am anemic and went through that and i ended up having four blood tranfusions all at the same time you shoud be averaging 3-4 pads per day not in 2-4 hours, you are losing blood to fast sounds like its not clotting correctly, go to the doctor now

i suggest going to the doctors and going on birth controll pills.alot of girls think there too young or arnt to be used unless sexually active but its untrue.they will help regulate your period and make it alot lighter, plus less cramps,no spots, and bigger boobs!

wear tampons..if ur not comfortable wearing them, then u could use birth control...or maybe see if you can get into the doctor & see if anything is wrong & maybe get some medicine. b/c that is weird that u have already went through 3..but don't worry i'm sure it will be fine..just talk 2 ur mom & maybe get into the dr. unless u would rather wear tampons...i don't wear them, they make me feel uncomfortable. :]
well good luck! :]

it happens with some girls. maby you should try using different pads, if that doesnt work then i think you should go and see your doctor. not because there is somethign wrong but they might put you on the pill which can make heavy periods calm down. try talking to your mum or an older woman you are closer to i think you will benifit alot from doing that.
hope things work out

Well, some people have really heavy flows. If you are really concerned talk to your mom or maybe ask her if you can go on birth control. She might be able to help you or take you to the doctor. I know he/she could help you.

It's normal like the first time you start. But if it gets worse then you may need to go see a doctor. All they do is ask you about what is wrong and they might look inside you. But if it your first ime ever then it;s normal.

d/w! coz your womb can't make more blood and it's all in there and some times depending on how you feel like stressed etc can your periods be very heavy or very weak. but it mainly it evens out in the end.
sometimes you can get really light ones too. so don't worry hun !Xxxxxxx

Mine was like that. And I still am now. I started when I was 11 years old. You should buy pads that are thick so that you won't have to change them out as much.

Hey,
Don't worry, this just means you have a heavy flow. Buy the extra thick pads + wings for heavy flows and you should be fine. Make sure you are eating healthily and drinking planty of water too. Remember that your periods alter when they aren't in a cycle so some periods will be light and others will be heavier.

My dr told my that it is only hemorrhaging if you soak through a pad in 5-10 minutes. Don't worry, you should be fine. However, if you are really concerned, go to the dr. It is better than worrying yourself sick.

Sometimes it's not normal. If you start to feel sick you need to be seen in some cases it can be a sign of endometreosis, heavy periods low back pain, weak, pelvic pain etc. IBU will slow your bleeding down..alot. My doctor percribes it to me.

This is your first period??? Was it long since you had your period? Are you irregular? Then it could be that it had been a long time since you had your period and your body is just letting it all go. But if it starts to come out non-stop like a waterfall go to the doctor if it persists like that, This happened to my aunt at the movie theater and it turned out that she had a cyst inside her uterus and it could have became cancer. So go check it out wiht your doctor.

Its really "kind" of all these men to give you advice. First of all, its not abnormal. I went through this until my first child was born, after that, still awful, but better than the past.
A week before you get your period (you will be able to read the signs soon, appetite increase, sore breasts, cranky) stop drinking caffiene. About three days before start taking ibuprophen, this will help later with the cramps. Be sure to exercise every day and eat lots of fruits and veggies. This sounds trite but it works. Be sure to have a good examination and keep drinking lots of fluids to keep everything moving smoothly.
I am so sorry for you to have to go through this...anyone who tells you not to call it the "curse", you have my permission to slap really really hard (then just blame it on pms) Good luck sweetie and welcome to the world of women.

its tough to say if anything is really wrong - sometimes periods are just super heavy. however, i suggest you give your gynecologist a call and ask them if you should be concerned. This isn't something to mess around with; if there is a problem, you need to take care of it right away!
You'll feel a lot better if you talk to your doctor than a bunch of strangers on the internet :)

If you're wearing light or normal pads, than try using the maxi pads, or overnight pads. If they aren't enough, consider calling a doc or telling your mom.
