Sorry, but they are mood swings, all generated by your hormones. Try to keep the fluids up especially a few days before and there are lots of things that can help. You might want to talk to your Dr or chemist first, but Evening Primrose Oil capsules do help a lot of people. I would try the extra fluids and rest along with Gentle exercise and if they aren't enough, then talk to your chemist/pharmacist about what they think would be the best to help you.

Yes it happens to a lot of women it happens to me some times so you don't have to worry about anything..... The more periods you have the better you will get and you wont have to worry about that kind of thing, now if you only started your period a couple years ago it may take a little bit to get over the crying, and over the getting mad. I used to have that problem all the time...
Well I love to be a help if you have any more questions just ask and I will answer...

Yes, very normal. Our hormones can cause us to be more emotional. Its kind of a joke that pregnant women cry over anything, even sad commercials. Don't worry, your fine.

it is very common. eventually after years and years of getting a period you'll be able to better control your emotions, but at this point the best you can do is be aware of why it's happening. keep your chin up! there's always birth control ;)

Believe me, it is EXTREMELY common.
I get it all the time and it is sometimes unbearable and completely outrageous. haha.
I just find that going to my room, shutting the door, and hiding under the covers helps me to calm down.
Just find whatever works for you and do it!

Yes that is very normal. When you are on your period your body produces a high amount of estrogen which is a female hormone. And that hormone causes you to be highly sensitive. It happens to all women.

Its a common problem. Calcium is a natural mood stabilizer. One of the reasons women crave chocolate. You may also want to try St. John's Wort while you're on your period and maybe start it a few days before if you have regular cycles.
