For a plane, people will be sitting next to you. Personally I don't think they want to have little miss CRINKLE CRINKLE sitting next to them. (What I'm saying is, it would be embarrasing to you and akward to the people around you to be hearing your pad in your undies crinkle after any movement) If you wear a tampon on the other hand, move all you want with no CRINKLE CRINKLE CRINKLE! If a pad is more comfortable to you then maybe use a pad. Try getting used to tampons though. In some sittuations, you're gonna rather have a tampon then a pad. Either works absorbing the same, but think... peace and quiet..... or CRINKLE CRINKLE! You're choice on what ever you think! Hope I Helped! Bye!

I go for a tampon, you don't want to feel uncomfortable with a pad on the plane. If you get the tampon far up enough you won't even feel it, nor realize you have your period. Once you get use to the method of using Tampons, it will be easy for you. The first few times are tough, but it's okay you'll get use to it. GOODLUCK girl!

I don't know where you heard that! going on a plane doesn't MAKE you have your period, you have it when it comes. You're better off starting with pads since your not to up on your periods and when you get into the swing of it then you can start experimenting with tampons.

well....if you normally use tampons then i guess you should use tampons. But if you know your gonna come on...but you don't know when i would suggest the heavy pads. Because you have to take tampons out every 3 hours or less....so if you have a pad...you don't have to worry about changing it in all the airport comtion until you are on the plane

I don't particularly like tampons and if you are going on a plane ride, it might be better to use a medium thickness pad (depending on previous experience, you decide how thick the pad should be). Make sure and pack extra in your carry on! Don't forget that!

DONT USE TAMPONS ON YOUR 1ST PERIOD!
the reason is because you might not have a heavy period.
use regular pads.

Hello :]

tampon. They are a little more...safe I would say. Plus, I'm guessing they would be far more comfortable than a pad in the coach seats.

I would use a tampon because you will be more comfortable. Sitting on a plane in a wet pad is really not a good idea! You will not feel like yourself and you will worry constantly.

Well I think you should were a regular tampon and then maybe a panie liner in case you have a leck and you can't get up from you seat. That is what I normally do if i'm flying.
Good luck though. =D

It depends what you prefer, pads or tampons?
But whatever you choose make sure it's high absorbency.
Take tablets for your cramps, you will be more comfortable.
I would personally wear a pad as i'm more comfortable with them because for some what reason tampons hurt me when im sitting down.
