It sounds like either a yeast infection or a kidney or a bladder infection. My wife had the same symptoms. She went to the doctor, and I don't remember the name of the stuff he gave her, but it worked.

It sounds like thrush and cystitis. I had both last year at the same time, which was really not nice. Drink water and Cranberry juice to flush your system out and see your doctor about the itchyness.
I just got some canesten which really helped...

go to the doctors, take a urine sample with you, preferably the first one of the morning, they will always request one. you may have to have a smear taken to see what the discharge is.
it is better to go now beffore it gets any worse, some infections can lead to infertility, not to scare you but just to make you aware. good luck, remember thousands of women have this type of thing, it may be your first time but its not for doctors and nurses.

You need to see a doctor AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. You may have the 'discharge' because you have 'cystitis' (a urinary Tract infection) but you could have the SYMPTOMS of cystitis because you have a bad 'female infection.' It doen't really matter ... ONLY A DOCTOR can 'prescribe' a treatment that will make you 'better' ... and 'what' caused it' or 'where it came from' may be answered when you KNOW FOR SURE what you have ... and ONLY A DOCTOR CAN ANSWER THAT AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN EXAMINED IN PERSON.

Your Syntems sound like "Vaginal Yeast Infection":
Alternative names
Yeast infection - vagina; Vaginal candidiasis; Monilial vaginitis
Vaginal candidiasis is not considered a sexually transmitted disease. However, 12% to 15% of men will develop symptoms such as itching and penile rash following sexual contact with an infected partner.
Symptoms
Abnormal vaginal discharge
Ranges from a slightly watery, white discharge to a thick, white, chunky discharge (like cottage cheese)
Vaginal and labial itching, burning
Redness of the vulvar skin
Inflammation of the vulvar skin
Pain with intercourse
Urination, painful
Generally, the first incidence of yeast infection should be treated by your health care provider/Doctor.
After the first infection, if a second infection occurs and is unquestionably a yeast infection, self-treatment may be initiated with over-the-counter vaginal creams such as Miconazole or Clotrimazole. Persistent symptoms should be evaluated by your gynecologist or primary health care provider/Doctor.
Cranberry juice and yogurt are two foods that may help prevent the occurrence of yeast infections and aid in their treatment.
Medications for vaginal yeast infections are available in either vaginal cream/suppositories or oral preparations.
Please avoid intercourse as much as possible while you have this infection. Your male partner can contract this as mentioned. It can also manifest as a UTI. He will not be best pleased, as it will feel like he is passing broken glass when he urinates. You could also experience this.
Infection is common among women who use estrogen-containing birth control pills
Candida albicans is a widespread organism with worldwide distribution. It is normally found in small amounts in the vagina, the mouth, the digestive tract, and on the skin without causing disease or symptoms (approximately 25% of women without disease symptoms have this organism present).
This Information is for general information only, and should not be treated as a substitute for the medical advice of your own doctor/gynaecologists or any other health care professional.

You most likely have had a bladder infection, and if it has been treated with antibiotics, you could have developed vaginal thrush due to the antibiotics. In that case the discharge is milky with clots like yoghurt. Please see your doc, since in women infections of the bladder can lead to infections of the kidneys (ascending urinary Tract infection) and is the most common cause of renal disease! Btw I am a doc!

if the discarge turns to be a yellow-green color in a bit then that means that it is a fungal infection. keep on checking it. if it is a fungal infection then the smell with just keep getting stonger and stronger. you might want to go ckeck with a family doctor soon because you don't want people thinking that you smell bad because sooner or later they will start to smell it.
hope I helped
Stephiipie
P.S: A FUNGAL INFECTION IS NOT LIFE THREATENING. IT CAN BE TREATED.

I think its a water/urine infection which is very common in women. I often get these infections which is pretty annoying! A quick urine test t the doctors will be able to confirm this.
Good luck.

It could be a couple different things. A yeast infection in which case you can try over the counter remedies like monastate. It also could be bacterial and you'd need an anti-biotic to clear that up from your doctor. If your sexually active it could be an STD. So to be certain of what it is you should be examined by your doctor.

Ooh I've had that, I don't suppose you're partner has came inside you recently? I get that if I don't pee straight after sex! It never lasted more than a day or two with me, so if you've had yours for longer than ignore me!

It definately sounds like you have a yeast infection for one. I would go to the doctor to be checked for that. They can prescribe a pill for you called Diflucan...it's way better than using those over the counter creams. The creams seem to make it much worse before it finally starts to get better. You also kind of sound like you may have a bladder infection. Definately see your doctor! You will feel MUCH better.

It is a yeast infection. Trust me, not fun. If you eat a lot of sugary foods it will give you a yeast infection because it feeds the bacteria. It will go away on it's own eventually-but they can last a long time. Otherwise, they have stuff to take care of it, or your doctor can prescribe something.

It sounds like you may have an yeast infection, which is common. It can be caused by tight fitting clothes or antibiotics. You can by ointment at the store that can help to relieve the discomfort, but just to make sure, you should go to a doctor to get examined.
