You may want to try douching and also try sprinkling some baby powder down there take a travel size powder to gym with you and sprinkle some before and after class. |

Well, I think a combination of washing yourself right before you go to the gym and wearing a pantiliner would help. Each individual has a different level of odour in different places of their bodies. If this continues to be a problem, you could also use a vaginal douche prior to going to the gym, available at pharmacies or department stores. I wouldn't recommend using this last solution too often, as it washes out beneficial bacteria along with the odour-causing ones. |

Do not douche! It is very unhealthy for the vaginal environment. You're asking for an infection. Try a scented pantyliner or one of the external feminine deodorant sprays if you're really self-conscious. However, I bet no one else notices the odor. |

Pantyliners are for drainage. You might try buying some Summer's Eve feminine products. Use the feminine soap, the feminine powder, and keep your area dry and clean. Also, if you feel comfortable, a douche would probably help with the odor. You can find them in Walmart - just ask the pharmasist where you can find them...they will know. I had the same problem growing up when I was in school. My sister didn't have it and so she thought I didn't clean myself properly, but I did! Hang in there, and just try those steps I wrote above, and you should be fresh as new! |

1. I'm sure you bathe regularly, and that is why the odor is hard to explain (what is wrong with some people who've answered this question--of course you bathe!). Anyhow.... When women (who bathe regularly) have an odor that smells bad, they usually have an infection or an STD. Not to worry, because vaginal infections happen to all women from time to time. The most common infections are yeast infections and bacteria infections (commonly called bacteria vaginosis). These infections are not Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Many things cause yeast infections, such as: certain antibiotics, hormonal changes before menustrating, wearing a wet bathingsuit or tight pants, wearing panties that are not cotton or are not white, douching (please don't douche!! It will disrupt the natural PH balance of your vagina and cause infections), etc..... the list goes on and on. So, as you can see, they can be quite easy to catch. You need to see a doctor. Just call them up and tell them that you are having vaginitis. Planned Parenthood clinics also see and treat young ladies your age for free or very low cost (almost free). They're a great option if you are afraid to ask your parents to take you to the doctor. I know it can be especially hard for a young lady to tell her Mom that she thinks she possibly might have an STD--for obvious reasons. Or you may be too embarased to discuss vaginal infections with your parents--understandable. Either way, please be seen by a doctor. Leaving an STD untreated can cause you to become sterile. And a vaginal infection won't go away without treatment. And besides, vaginal odor can be a terribly embarrasing condition to live with... and it'll only get worse, if left untreated. Don't worry. It's all part of becoming a woman, and we've all been through it. :) |

Use a feminine hygiene wash like a Summers Eve, then use a pantyliner or put baby powder between your legs to help with the sweat. |

You should use FDS(Femine Deodorant Spray)it helps. The reason of the smell is because you are sweating and fiction, also if you just got off your period could cause an odor.So also try washing it very well after you are done working out. |

Don't douche, that is bad for your body... You probably have a bacterial infection which is similar to a yeast infection but it cause a strong yucky odor. Go to the doctor and get checked. If that is the problem and you let it get worse it could cause other problems over time. |

first of all find out why there is a odour.. NEVER douche all that does is change the ph in the vagina and will cause odour.. yeah you can wear a pantyliner. try buying some of those fiminine sprays you can get pretty much anywhere. but please see a doc |

I'd think pantiliners might make it worse because they have plastic backings. Sounds like you need to find some workout wear, including panties, made from wicking fabrics so that sweat doesn't just accumulate down there. |

Douching should help. Also, try to change your underwear more than twice a day- |

Shower good and check with your Doctor as sometimes certain infections can cause odor. Not STD's but infections. You can also bathe twice a day to help and use cleansing wipes which you can buy in the section where the feminine products are. |

1) Shave hair. Buy a small pair of clippers. (Beard & mustache trimmers. 2) Use FDS or feminine wipes before gym starts. 3) Use lightly scented liners. 4) Repeat 2 & 3 after shower when gym is over. Odor should stop, but if problem persists see your doctor. Hope that helps and good luck!!! |

before gym, use some personal femenine sanitary wipes and spray your panties with some deoderant spray or perfume. but don't spray it directly on your area or it will burn! hope this helps. if it doesn't help, it may be a more serious problem that you should see a gynocologist about. |

try some vaginal wipes or spray as well as a scented panty liner. Good luck! |

I do not recommend douching, because douching can cause yeast infections and other vaginal infections. Try going to your doctor you might ahve to take some medicine. You might have some kind of vaginal infection and you check it out. Go to OB GYN. they will be more than happy to help you with that. |

that is a good idea a scented panty liner and they have a eminine deoderant spray for it too so whatever works best for you |

Regular washing with warm water and mild soap during baths and showers will keep the outside of the vagina clean and healthy. Doctors suggest women avoid scented tampons, pad, powders and sprays. These products may increase a woman's chances of getting vaginal infections. Most doctors say that it is best to let your vagina clean itself. The vagina cleans itself naturally by producing mucous. Women do not need to douche to wash away blood, semen, or vaginal discharge. The vagina gets rid of it alone. Also, it is important to note that even healthy, clean vaginas may have a mild odor. If your vagina has a terrible odor, douching will only cover up the smell. It will not make it go away. If your vagina has a bad odor, you should call your doctor right away. It could be a sign of a bacterial infection, urinary Tract infection, STD or a more serious problem. |

DON'T douche. It can upset the balance. Instead use pantyliners and sprinkle some Vagisil powder on the pad every morning. Be sure the take showers daily. Wear cotton panties and loose clothing. You may have a yeast infection so you may want to purchase Monistat. When using the restroom always wipe front to back. I would also consult a doctor. He/She would know better than anyone on here...you could have some sort of infection. You never know. Women's bodies are weird. |
