You have reason to be embarrassed, girls can be cruel. Word of advice, don't go into a stall with a broken lock and ask someone to hold it for you. Christina K	Well you could wait until there is no-one else in there, but when you need to change your pad then you just need to change it. All women have to do it, so just try to accept that if they are laughing at you, sooner or later it will be them changing their pad. Kathleen Says Vote McCain	I felt the exact same way when I was you age. I understand what you mean. I got over one day when I was in the stall trying to open my pad as quietly as possible when I heard the person in the next stall ripping hers open without any hesitation. I could hear everything. But it totally reassured me. I realized that I knew exactly what she was doing but that I didn't care. And then I realized that no one cares if you're changing your pad or if you're on your period. If people can hear you they won't care. I promise. Every single woman in the world gets a period. There is nothing wrong with it and you should never ever feel that it's something to embarrassed about or that you have to hide. And if anyone says something to you tell them that periods are natural and if they don't know about them they should see their doctor because they are underdeveloped and perhaps dying.
