southrnbell21	First of all you dont need to use a tampon until you are ready! second you can wear a small pad in a pool because when you are submerged in water you dont bleed . I used to swim alot in the summers and my doc told me to keep swimmin and not to worry if you want to make sure you done have a problem take a bath and see if you bleed if not go swimmin with a small pad it wont leak. Kermit4110	You have yo tell your coach that you are on your period. You could risk going anyway, but I would hate for you to make a mess and embarrass yourself. I would wear a tampon, unless you have TSS. Your coach can't get mad at you for mother nature. You could also use the Intead cup, so you don't have to worry about a tampon. ★Jaileen★	don't be afraid to say "Period" it's a normal word, all women go through it (some exceptions of course) it's not sensored.....we have to stop making ths stuff seem like taboo. The only way is to wear the tampon, have you ever wore one??? they are actually pretty confortable, ask your mom to help you with it, it's nothign wrong with it. Many people think they will lose their virginity or something.....they don't go that far up for that to happen. It can be scary at first, but like I said...it's normal!!! or second choice..Just say "I can't practice today because I am on my period!!" you are not the first or last woman with her period, trust me.
