For some, it's painful, they may have some bleeding and tenderness afterwards, and for some other girls, they may have zero bleeding/pain/etc. It all just depends on your body. Your vagina has a very thin layer of tissue covering the opening, which is called the hymen. This is what may cause some pain during sex for the very first time. mariamcdgll	It's different for everybody. My first time wasn't bad at all..my hymen had already been broken long before my first time, but I actually found it more enjoyable then painful. The first few seconds may be a little discomforting, but in my experience, it wasn't bad at all. You will probably enjoy your first time despite the initial pain (which is like a burning pain) 1. Make sure you are entirely ready, and want to loose your virginity to this person - you have to trust them ABSOLUTELY because it is only with their consideration of your feelings that pain will be minimised. 2. Tell the person that you are a virgin - get them to take it slowly and gently, and make sure they listen to you when you tell them to give you a rest or whatever. 3.
