I use both. The pill is more effective protecting against pregnancy. Condoms are the only way to reduce the risk of STDs besides abstinence. And using both protects even better when it comes to pregnancy.

Condoms serve both purposes without inputting things into your body that may have an adverse affect on your reproductive system when you are ready to have a child.

I take the pill and use a spermicide. My partner and I are both clean, and in a comitted relationship, so it's ok if we dont use a condom.

I have used the pill in the past but not in the last two years. I thnk that condoms are safe but I don't use because they are irritable. Plus I've been with my partner for 4 years and as long as I'm tested on a regular basis and have not speculation of cheating....
Just dont get any injections or shots, they increase your appetite and mess up your figure ladies.

just an IUD, my last child was conceived on the pill, so im not taking that chance again, and im allergic to latex, and most other condoms only protect against pregnancy, so im in a monogamous relationship, and we have been tested

Ive been on the pill for 10 years, my boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years so we dont use condoms anymore. We are also old enough to deal with the consequences of not using condoms.

I use the pill, but every couple is different. My fiancee has used condoms before, and I've been on the 'shot' also. Depends on what each of you are comfortable with and want. The pill can have an effect on your period, and neither are 100% effective. So, really, if you don't want to get pregnant, just don't have sex. But for safest (possible) use both.

Condom. The pill messes up your period and condoms are perfectly safe if you use them properly.
Edit - Alison C get your facts right. Some women actually get their period constantly when they're on the pill. Fun fun fun for their partner. There's also been a lot of research done into the effect taking the pill has on fertility. A lot of women who have been on the pill for a couple of years, then find it very difficult to conceive when they finally do want to have children.

You should do both. Condoms aren't 100% affective against pregnancy or STDs. In spite of that, NEVER have sex without one unless you are actively attempting to conceive.

I was on the pill, but I started having really bad side-effects.
I'd wake up with a really bad headache, that would last for around 3-4 days.
At the time I didn't realise it was because of the pill.
There is a lot of advantages about the pill as well:

Now my boyfriend wears the condom.

I do both. This is kind of emberassing but I have an std called hpv. No, I'm not a whore/slut/tramp. I just slept with the wrong guy and didn't use protection. Anyways, my boyfriend and I don't want to have a kid so I wear the patch. I also don't want to keep spreading my std so I make him wear a condom too. He hates it and prefers the 'pull out' method but I'd really like my std to go away eventually and this is the only way to do it.
