Do you think i should go to the emergency room?

ok im not feeling good at all... very bad headache (been having them for a week). light headed, weak, hot flashes alll day, stomach pain and back pain (shooting pains). this is all very uncomfortable and painful and VERY unusual. my period last month lasted for 10 days instead of the USUAL 6, and was also very light, its usuall very very heavy. i'm tired all day everyday and my stomach just feels weird. i am not nauseaous nor do i have soo boobs althought they have grown like a full cup size in the past month. what do u think is wrong and should i go to the ER? i don't wanna go if its not serious but i am not feeling good at all!

i can't go to the doctor tomorrow or any day b/c i just started a job full time and cant call off yet. so ER is my only option. also i live in a REALLY small city in PA so i wont be there all night.

Lisa W	Get tested for an iron deficiency. A regular doctor appointment should work, as long as you go tomorrow.

Galileo	If you live in Calif. don't go to the E.R. You'll be there all night before they see you. Go to an urgent care clinic or call your doctor and see if you can get in tomorrow. I'm guessing the doctors' offices will not be that busy tomorrow, the day before a holiday.

safrog878	you may want to try a pregnancy test then go to see the doctor because you never now what happens and if its something serious then you will want to catch it sooner than later.

Ben P	If you have anything for more than 3 days you should go to a doctor. If you don't have one you can see, or if it is an insurance matter; go to the ER. It could be some kind of poisoning, alergy, or infection.

Cribber	If this has been going on awhile like you say, it isn't an emergency. When you go to the ER and it isn't urgent, then people who may have very serious illnesses or injuries can be held up. Instead, go to an urgent care clinic. They have them in nearly every town. Go first thing when they open tomorrow. Better option is to get an appt with an actual primary care doc, but if you don't have one, go to the urgent care tomorrow. But not the ER.

Whatever	I think you should make an appointment with your doctor. It doesn't sound like you need to go to the emergency room but since these symptoms are bothering they should be checked out. I'm not really sure what's wrong though...

webigail1	if you've had a headache over a few days you need to go see a doctor. call your doctor in the morning and explain teh symptoms so they can get you in or go to a nearby walk-in clinic early in the morning so you don't have to wait long.
