Pamela C	A more likely culprit is dehydration rather than pregnancy. U can take a chep preg test from the drug store if you really think pregnancy could be in the picture. Another thing that can make urine dark is Hepatitis, this is inflammation of the liver. The next thing I would do to see if I could try to see for myself what's going on with dark urine is to begin to cut back on salt and increase water like it's going out of style! Your urine color should respond almost immediately. If not, then I would think about going to see a Dr for a liver and a kidney functions blood test. If you have Hepatitis, find out which type it is. I caught Hepatitis A the viral form from being under anesthesia too long. It made my urine look like coca cola and the whites of my eyes and skin looked yellowish. The worst part was that if your liver is inflamed..it's not doing its job to clean the junk out of your blood...so the junk tries to come out through your skin..so you itch like crazy.
