Can dancing help you lose weight???
Because I've been doing some dances to certain songs . Also , i've been doing crunches and some cardio . Also , how many pounds can you lose in 3 months while dancing.. how much mins do you think i should dance ,i want to lose about 13 pounds or so in my stomach . Im on a diet right now.

Dancing is exercising, but it depends on the intensity and length of time on how much you loose.
It is recommended to walk at least 20 minutes daily, so I would estimate 15-25 minutes daily dancing for results (All seven days a week).

Yes, any form of exercise can help you lose weight. 13 pounds in 3 months is definitely doable if you eat healthy and keep exercising. Just don't over-do it. Good luck!

Add some sit-ups to that routine too! and be sure to watch what you eat more closely... You'll probaby loose 13 lbs no problem. Good for you! I'm so happy to hear about people being health concious.

it does help u lose weight. probably 5 days a week u should do about 30 crunches 30 min. of cardio and 1 hour of dance

Pounds will very. Dancing is great! I dance different types 3 days a week for 2 hours each. Don't forget to stretch and keep eating right. You will have good results when the 3 months is up. When beginning out ALWAYS strech start off for 30 mins then keep going up after that at your own pace. Dont forget to stresch after as well.

yes, it also gets your thighs, abs, legs, and arms in shape too, your whole body. and it can get your personal emotional side boosted too.-lose the diet, just eat healthier, many grains, frits, veggies, fish, some red meat. and go easy on the fruit juice

Yes you can....but do you really need to lose 13 lbs.? ....Try eating 1200 cal. a day , and try to make most of it healthy food...fish (even a can of tuna) vegies...fruit...skim milk...that will help you greatly also. good luck be healthy

well just regular dancing like jazz or hip hop or something like that. but my mom does jazzercise. that has really helped her and to diet and eat right. she has been doing really good about it. so yeah there you go.

Yes!!!! Anything to burn calories!!!! And dancing is fun :)
How many pounds depends on how fast you dance and for how long....I would dance at least 30 minutes a day 3 to 5 times a week......

Heck yeah, dancing can help you lose weight. I know because I go out dancing 4-5 nights a week for the past year or so and I've lost 30 pounds and built some good definition in my legs. I usually dance 2-3 hours and you're having so much fun you don't realize you're sweating up a storm. Try something heavy duty like swing or Latin dancing because that'll really get your heart racing. (Cute guys always a plus!) Good luck with your weight loss.

Amazingly! You can have fun dancing to your favorite songs while getting a load of physical activity! Its great if you do it 2-5 times a week for at least an hour! You can lose a few pounds per 2-4 weeks! Best of luck.
