musikbooger	If you are hoping that you are bigger take it from me....I was always a B and then in my early 20's moved to a C and now I'm 28 and a D and it's so annoying! You can't find anything to wear without your boobs popping out everywhere. I also was a 32 but then moved to a 34 and some styles I wear a 36. I am 115 lbs. and very small up top so you probably just have a ribcage that is slightly wider. Once you start your period (if you haven't already) then eventually it starts to even out. Don't worry...you are fine. :) Don't listen to the fat comments because you can't make that judgement without a picture. BTW, my friend is in her 30's and is a 38A-B. Was this answer helpful to you? Livvye	That's totally normal. 38 has NOTHING to do with the cup size. 38 means that your either 33 or 34 inches around your chest, under your breasts. I was a 36B when I was 12, now Im like in the middle between 36B and 36C.. B is too small and C is too big;) Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

sash	Normal covers a wide range...Some women or girls never get past an A size cup!! It just means they are flat chested. As far as the 38 that is just the measurement around her entire back and chest. Everyone is shaped different. This girl you speak of is either chubby or has broad shoulder and carries her weight waist up. For example one girl can weigh 140 and wear a 34 while another girl can weigh the same and wear a 38. kinda like pant size. Its all determined by the shape, muscle and bone size. Leenie B	The 38 does sound a little large, but the A is completely normal. However...to all of those people who said that being a 38 makes you overweight...TOTALLY NOT TRUE. My mother is a 38A, she's 5'8'' and weighs around 140. She has very little fat around her ribcage, but she DOES have a very broad back. So it IS possible to be a 38 without being fat... JR	It's not a common size, but it's certainly possible. I'm sure you know that 38 is the band size and A is the cup size. The best thing I ever did was go to a Victoria's Secret and be measured by a professional. I had tried measuring myself, but wasn't sure I was doing it right. When the VS lady measured me, I was shocked that I had been wearing the wrong size for years. Now I'm much more comfortable in the right size. Umbrella and Top Hat	There is no normal when is comes to bra sizes. Everyone is different. At your age I was a 34 B. I have a friend that was, and still is flat as a board. kittykatt131	Yes; 38 is your band size - that is the measurement of your ribcage in inches minus 5 - really, this has nothing to do with your breasts, but with the tightness of the bra. 'A' is the cup size a.k.a how big your breasts are. And Bandaloop, sweetie, learn something for me: The only person telling a girl that she's "fat" is a DOCTOR. Not you, not your mama, but her doctor. Here's a little story. I knew a guy when I was in 5th grade - he was a very overweight boy. Well, let me tell you, I was shocked 6 years later when I 'met' him by odd occurance through a choir festival - he was very thin, had beautiful features, beautiful eyes, long hair, start of a beard.............. Lesson learned. Because, well, you know, YOU might be the one being called fat someday.
