Ivy [Is a BAMF]	I wouldn't worry about it. I was 13 and 5'7" and the doctor told me I'd keep growing but i didn't. I was the youngest in my grade, and the tallest too, but once I stopped growing everyone caught up with me, and some even passed me by far. I'm 18 now and still 5'7", but I remember when some of my guy friends (who are now 6'6") were shorter than me! Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

smarty marty	You are very normal. Girls usually develop (and grow tall) quicker than boys. I was around that height when I was twelve and stayed that height into adulthood. You are going through your "growth spirt" and just might end up at around this heilght for the long run. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

sassygal	its perfectly normal to be any height..just because your really tall means maybe your getting your growth spirt before others. are your parents tall? genetics play a big role in height. but you are not abormally tall at all thats perfectly normal. just think of the benefits you could be a model! i'm a model and im 5'8" altho im 15. also just because your the youngest doesn't mean you should be the shortest! Another day	lol same here. I am 5'11 and in the 8th grade and still have much to grow. its normal..i am also the tallest in the grade. you might feel a little out of place..but trust me..its awesome..you can play sports.. i played volleyball in the fall and basketball and every coach will want u for their team. lol well good luck. its great to hear i'm not the only tall girl out here.ahah Was this answer helpful to you? kathy_is_a_nurse	I can sympathize. I was the tallest girl in my class throughout junior high. Eventually the other kids started catching up to me. If the doctor says you could grow another 4 or 5 inches, that will certainly make you on the high side of normal, but not bizarrely so. Kids are just getting taller these days. *<3_Gizmo*	sure, you must just have tall genes in your family. i wouldn't worry too much about it, you might not grow another 4-5 inches, maybe you will. i was told at 10 by my doctor that i would be 5'7" or so. less than 6 months later i started my period, was told you usually stop growing about 2 years after you start your period, and i finished off at 5'3". so doctors aren't always right. and i used to be the tallest kid too. not for long. Most men love tall women and the top models are always tall. In fact they say the most successful people are tall and are seen as people with good genes. When you use the phrase "normal" this usually indicates something out of the norm - like unusual. I wouldn't say this is not normal. There's a lot of tall people in the world.
