I dont care what anyone tells you, it is one of the most painful things ever. If anyone answers differently on here, they are lying. I have had stitches taken out of my face, and it was more painful than the accident.

Won't be painful at all, in fact it'll probably tickle a lot if you're ticklish. Taking out your stitches is the best part of a surgery, means you're just about all done, if not all done with it. :)

Na,
Getting stiches removed is virtually painless, you could even do it yourself with patience and a steady hand really. Makeup/concealer will do the trick np.
Don't worry! :P

No. It's not as painful as getting them. But yeah you shouldn't feel anything. Just calm down and lay down. The doctor will cut them and it won't hurt a bit

Nope! I actually cut mine out myself and it didn't hurt at all.
Gross, yes, but not painful.
Also, since your skin is still in the healing stage where you can treat the scar, try using Mederma or BioOil for a while on the scar rather than makeup. You might be able to fade it to the point you won't even need concealer.
Good luck!

No, the stitches shouldn't be too painful when they get removed. Might feel a little tugging, but shouldn't be too bad. And yes, you will be able to wear makeup and such. Make sure you ask the Dr. about it. He/she may want you to wait a certain amount of time.
There are some great creams/lotions on the market for scarring. Ask your Dr. about which he/she suggests for that also.
Best wishes

It will hurt a little bit, but definitely not as bad as putting them in. Use Neosporin when you get home.

It shouldn't hurt, none of mine did. It is usually just an odd sensation.
