Probably dermatitis. Just a topical bacterial infection caused lots of time by unknown bacteria or an allergic reaction to something. Go ask a pharmacist to recommend an over the counter cream and try it before you spend the money on a doctor. If it is not extremely painful, it is probably not serious.

It's probably a rash. I had it and it went away within a few weeks, but if your s doesnt within that time, then ask your doctor about rash creams or other remedies.

Well i really don't know what it is but it might be dry Skin which often appears during the winter time. My advise if you have this is to put lotion on that spot usually when you are just about to sleep. It really helps.
It also might be that you are allergic try finding out that particular item that is causing you to have this and ask your doctor about what you should do.
It could also be these rashes that usually go away several weeks later.
But if its not I suggest asking a Doctor to see what might be the problem and to not scratch, scratching never helps even though you can't resist.
Good luck:)

The only thing that comes to mind for me would be reaction to deodorant but that unlikely would cause any problem on the top of you shoulder.
Bottom line: If it doesn't go away, see a doctor or "doc in a box" at your local drug store.

Not even a doctor can diagnose this rash without seeing it or taking a scraping for a culture. If it is spreading , I would be worried that it would get on my face. It is probably your normal bacteria , out of control in this area and you need a cream like Bactroban. YOu have to go to the doctor.

a lot of things could be wrong that start with a rash, however because of the fact that you have had it 3 weeks with no other symptoms i would have to say that you simply brushed some poison Ivy, or some other non serious reason. If you get any other side effects or if the rash doesn't go away within a month or so, see a doctor

it could be a spider bite. i've had those before and they have a tendency to spread. try Vaseline to stop the itching and hopefully, it'll heal on its own!

It's probably because of the cold weather or irritation. Do you shave your arms? If you do you're probably irritating the skin and it is most likely dry. Check with a doctor or a dermatologist

It could just be a rash, quite itching it, cause you will only inflame the area even more causing it to spread.
