When to start putting cream on cold sores?
I have been told to start putting cream on my cold sores as soon as I start feeling the itch in my lip. However, sometimes I feel my lip itching and a cold sore does not develop at all, so I am wonder...
I have been told to start putting cream on my cold sores as soon as I start feeling the itch in my lip. However, sometimes I feel my lip itching and a cold sore does not develop at all, so I am wondering should I apply the cream anyway?

No wait until you see the cold sore then apply purfume the creams are crap and purfume gets rid of it straight away Hope this helps |

Put on Zovirax cream as soon as you feel you may be getting a coldsore. It should stop it developing and certainly won't do any harm other than dry the skin a bit. Better safe than sorry if you ignore the warning signs. |

Yes and also take L-Lysine. It is an amino acid (get it in the vitamin section). If you take a couple times a week. No more cold sores at all. |
