Jessie P	My friend has this problem and it's because she's allergic to shampoos. What she has to do is switch out shampoos about every 3-4 washings. She keeps about 10 different kinds of shampoo on hand and switches them out about twice a week. If she forgets, her scalp breaks out and scabs over. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Mother Bear	These could be from ingrown hairs that break off and cause small pustules to form, which then turn to scabs. Do you wear hats or headbands that might be pulling your hair out and leaving ingrown hairs? It could also be from insect bites or a rash from an allergy caused by your shampoo. if it continues or worsens, go to a dermatologist and get a real diagnosis. Was this answer helpful to you? Jaggs	Could be psoriasis. Start like small scab, grow and some time its like dandruff only......lots of dry scale. Mostly psoriasis is confused with dandruff. See your dermatologist or you can try homeopathy medicine as well. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Coo coo achoo	You might have dry scalp with a dandruff problem. Try a dandruff shampoo---but don't go for the expensive stuff. I use store brand and it works ever bit as good. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

bydand2000	My wife has had something similar before and she went to the Dr. and he said it was a form of acne that was brought on by stress. I believe she got a second opinion and they cofirmed it. Cyn	Is it possible that you've picked up fleas or lice? Although pet fleas prefer to stay on pets, owners sometimes get fleas from their pets. And, contrary to popular belief, lice actually PREFER people who have scrupulously clean hair. Stacy	is it a dark scab... if not it's probably just a clogged sebaceous gland, kinda like dried up oil around a hair follicle... use sea breeze or an Astringent everyday and it should help either way. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

supadoopa!	I get this problem too! I generally just try a few different shampoos until I find one that helps. At the moment I am using Tresemme Vitamin E Moisturising Shampoo which is good on my scalp and my hair. I have tried all the medicated stuff like Vosene and others but they made it worse!! Psoriasis- Psoriasis causes an accumulation of dead skin cells that form thick silvery scales. It can occur on your scalp, forehead, neck, arms. knees, elbows, trunk, and neck.
