JING	Dandruff Treatment Unfortunately there is no cure for dandruff yet (once you get it you may continue to have it), but there are ways that you can control and limit dandruff. If you have only a mild case of dandruff, shampooing your hair with a regular shampoo daily or twice a day will usually do the trick. Start out by trying a mild shampoo, stronger shampoos can irritate and dry out your hair making dandruff flaking worst. If your standard shampoo doesn't get rid of your dandruff, buy an anti-dandruff shampoo and your dandruff condition should improve signifigantly in a couple of weeks. Picking the right shampoo for your hair can be a process of trial and error, try out different shampoos to see which one works best for you and also rotating shampoos periodically can be good for your hair. Once you have found an anti-dandruff shampoo that works for you, keep on using it or your dandruff will most likely reoccur. Gail G	Im a manager of a hair and beauty salon and dandruff may not be what you think, dandruff is actually a yellowish skin on top of your head (a bit like craddle cap) but if you a flaky scalp which every day people class as dandruff then its just flakey scalp. Wonton...>_<	use mayonaise..it makes ur hair reallly sooft!! and silky..and moist.....do it maybe once every two weeks...rub it thrue ur hair..and then wait 30 minutes and then wash it with shampoo.(no conditioner!!) then the next day use shampoo and conditioner Was this answer helpful to you? jlb	please don't use head and shoulders! it's strong enough to clean your cooker. I had a bad case some time back and my hairdresser strongly advised me against h and s. Keratase is good if a bit expensive at 9 quid a bottle! if your scalp is itchy too you need to treat this first, a sensitive itchy scalp causes the dandruff. Use a very mild not strong perfumed shampoo I've found sunsilk for itchy scalps effective. Also try tea tree products, t gel is not in my opinion effective. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No
