Try waxing it?
Maybe your skin just can't handle it and you jsut have to leave it be and have some pubic hair.

You can shave and if you get the bumps, then you can get that stuff called bakini zone. Or you can always go and get a brazillian wax. Although that can be painful, it will get rid of the hair. I would also do a yahoo search.

NO DON'T USE NAIR! It might irritate your vagina. I shave mine and yes it does hurt and leave bumps and stuff. You could wax, although I've never done that before.

Waxing is the best method but its really painful. i use one of those mini electric hair trimmers. You can but them at the drugstore and as long as you are Gentle they don't cause irritation and remove all of the hair down there. i've been using it for two years and it works great

shave every other day.
wash the skin before shaving.
shave with the grain, not against it. [shave in the direction the hair grows.]
rinse.
wash again,
thats what I do,
maybe use some lotion.

A perfect accessory for your favorite bikini, Nair® Bikini Cream - no nicks, cuts, or razor bumps. Removes hair below the skin’s surface in as little as 3 minutes.
Some skin is just more sensitive than other skin? Which is why we formulated NEW Nair® Sensitive Bikini Cream to work gently — yet effectively — on even your tender areas.

Shaving is one of the best ways, but you need to do it really carefully with a good razor and shaving cream. And you will still get bumps.....
Nair works, but sometimes stings. Waxing hurts.... There are permanent options, but they cost a lot.
Honestly there are not great answers to this question. It depends on how much you are willing to put into it.

Shaving is fine as long as you use a proper pubic shaving tool and apply after-shave lotion for the pubic region.

The bumps and irritation are nearly inevitable with shaving. Also depilatory products such as Nair can create a painful/burning feeling when used in sensitive areas, such as the pubic area. The best way would be waxing. Yes, it is painful, but with two Advil an hour beforehand, the pain is lessened and is very much temporary. Also, the bumps from ingrown hair are minimized. Since you are considerably young, I would not suggest laser hair removal either.

For the love of god don't Nair your junk. Use a beard trimmer, that keeps it nice and neat without being totally bald.
Other than that, your skin will eventually get used to shaving.
