Relax, if it was a boil, it would be causing you pain, especially when sitting. You have 2 options, put a bandaid on and live with it, or "pop it", eventually it has to pop, just depends on how long you want to have it around.

You must practice extreme santitary habits so that the "spot" doesn't become infected. Put peroxide and/or alcohol on it and avoid sitting on a toilet seat without something on the seat to protect the spot from germs intering into it before it is healed.

pimples on butt...yes, it happens to me too...
expecially those who are under the skin and hurts.... they're quite big and reddish... i hate them!!!
if you have any kind of local Decongestant treatment for pimples etc use it (i don't know what Neosporin is, in my country this treatment doesn't exist!)
toothpaste would work fine too, but you'll have to stay up until it dries out :P
they're very annoying and it takes a lot to take them away if you try to squeeze it, so only use a cream over it, ok?!!
if after some days is still there....then go to your doctor :)

May be a cyst. My sister in law had one removed surgically, wasn't too big of a deal. I think it was done as outpatient surgery, so she went home the same day.

If it is still there in a couple days and becomes sore, than you should make an apointment, or if it pops and oozes for longer than a pimple normally would. Other than that, don't worry about it. If it is a pimple it will go away in a day or two. And if it's a boil, chances are it will heal on it's own.

aha kinda funny no offense. I would suggest checking the aisles of your drug store for medication that might help or searching online by typing in the symptoms. it might be more helpful than asking here...=)))

dont worry,
though I would recommend going to a doctor.
Get it checked out, it may be an infection, and it can get worse.
And don't be embarrassed to go to the doctor, he probably sees patients every day with similar or worse situations, and those things seem as natural to him as walking down the street.
Try not to put a band aid on it, I would think that it might only get worse, and take regular showers.
Not much I can say, but hope that helped, take care.

Try hydrocortizone cream. If it does not go away in a week or so, put your pride "behind" you and see a doctor for God's sake.

You get pimples everywhere, it's nothing to worry about. I've had something similar, and yeah, it did get quite ugly looking. Very annoying, but no harm came of it.

If it is a cist or pimple or boil it will get better and go away if you put heat compresses on it a couple times a day, after a couple days all the crap will come to the surface and come out. then it can heal. I wouldnt put any Neosporin on. No creams either.

might be an ingrown hair
apply Calamine lotion & let it dry - leave uncovered
also toothpaste works wonders in drying those things up, the paste style, not the gel kind
good luck hope this helps

Don't listen to these people saying to ignore it. A boilish pimple can be a Staph infection. There's fairly bad outbreaks of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MSRA) in schools and hospitals this year.
Staph can lead anywhere from simple antibiotics to maggot therapy to amputation or even death.
Get it checked out sweetheart.

Some people get really bad acne on their butts, it's normal. I wouldn't worry about it unless it gets infected. Also, I don't think the Neosporin is going to help. Why don't you ask your mom.

Come on people -- she asked the question to get HELP not get your negative comments!! It's pretty crappy when you are looking for some info and tips and all you get is bad comments.
You are no different than anyone else honey. I'm sure 100% of the population gets blemishes on their hineys at one point in their life. Even the high paid actresses get them!
I'd say that you are okay... I've been to the doctor before for an ingrown hair - thinking it was a boil. (Did you know that if you get your hair cut - when the hair lands on any other part of your body it can start to regrow there? Hair stylists should have that posted on the front door of their salons and shops.) Or it could just simply be a small pimple like you've said... I'd give it a couple days to repair --- and if it doesn't go away or gets bigger.. you should take the trip to your physician and see what he/she has to say about it. I'd leave the bandaid off though to let it heal with some air. ;) Good luck!!
