Is there a non-surgical / non chemical way to remove skin tabs?

Lilleyput	I wish I knew as I have one growing in the right cortex of my brain. Nothing can be done for mine, though you could try the sap from a plant that grows in the garden. An old wifes tale that works. Unfortunately though I'm sorry but I cannot remember the name of the plant. It has a leaf that is shaped like a four leafed clover if that is of any help. You could also try starving it of light and oxygen by strapping it up with a non medicated strapping plaster for a wekk or so it ought to just drop of then.. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

a p	I think perhaps it is best to go get the spray and freeze it off. It is only a squirt of something similar to nitrous and would seem to be more effective and reliable. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Kate	Skin tags are small, soft, flesh-colored growths that protrude from your skin. They are generally harmless. However, if needed, skin tags can be snipped off with a scissors, or removed by freezing (cryotherapy) or with electrical current (electrodessication) in your dermatologist's or doctors office. It is generally not recommended that you remove skin tags yourself because of the increased risk of infection and excessive bleeding. In addition, other skin growths — such as moles, keratoses, hemangiomas and pyogenic granulomas — can resemble skin tags and should only be removed by a doctor. That said... I get them on the inside of my elbows, and on my collarbone and usually remove mine by snipping them off with sterilized fingernail clippers, or just pinching them off. mad_doctor_9	personally I'd rather see a doctor, but u can tie dental floss or fishing wire around the base of the tab and this will cut off the circulation to the tab and it will fall off after a few hours to a few days. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

shaun3937	dont know how safe this is, but i once heard that if you tie around the base of it with cotton it'll eventually drop off of it's own accord. I'd seek doctors advice if I were you. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No
