There is a product called TendSkin that burns like heck but it makes bumps and rashes go away quickly.
It can be found at the "product name" dot com.

do not use after shave. Take a warm cloth and apply it for a couple of minutes. Pat dry and make sure it's dry. Humidity will make it itch. Powder is good but use oderless with no scent. try using Polysporin cream it will heal any abbrasions and it will take care of the itch too. Don't scratch it will make it worse and it's natural that when the hair starts growing in it will itch for 2 to 3 days.

you poor girl . I have been shaven for years so I don't have this problem. You need to buff up your skin, rub a towel roughly over yourself this will open the ingrown hairs

It happens the first time you do it. If you make it a weekly part of your hygiene, you'll get used to it, and it will no longer itch.

That is generally normal. Since that area isn't really meant to be shaved, your skin will be irritated by the razor. Usually it's a bunch of red bumps. If it really bothers you, just buy a trimmer or something and keep it really trimmed. Also, I heard that if you use Dove unscented deoderant down there, it makes it really smooth and takes care of the rash.

The last thing you wanna do now but in future keep the area well exfoliated it will prevent ingrowing hairs. use soothing gels (like after sun ) and a bit of antiseptic wouldn't hurt, it'll be ten times worse if a hair follicle gets infected !

keep the area clean, exfoliate to reduce ingrown hairs... and maybe avoid sex until it heals otherwise it will aggravate it more

Whilst it's more attractive to most people to manage their pubic hair, sometimes shaving can be extremely irritating to the skin - especially if you shave against the growth of the hair. This commonly causes red bumps, rashes and ingrown hairs. Not something anyone wants! You could also be allergic to the shaving foam you used, as many people have very sensitive skin around that area, myself included.
My advice would be to moisturize the area, and once it clears up, gently exfoliate to remove any dry flakes of skin.
You might want to consider other forms of hair removal, in the future. There's eppilation, depilatory creme or even laser hair removal. Personally, I always get my bikini line waxed, it lasts much longer and the result is much more cosmetically pleasing. If you don't want to spend too much cash on a professional, most home waxing kits are good enough for the weeks in between waxing.
Good luck!

Be really careful from now on. Razors harbor alot of bacteria. it's best not to keep them in the shower so they can dry properly. But you might just have plain old razor burn.

Make sure when you shave down there that you shave in the direction of the hair, not against it. That's what causes this. It will go away in a couple of days when the hair grows. In the meantime don't scratch it.

Yep, ouch! Best to treat it with somethng that will sooth like aloe cream, or Cortisone cream. In the future, waxing is much less itchy and rashy.

When you shave your pubes shave with the grain..or direction of growth. Try not to pass over the same area again and again. To ease you rash ans the look of it use an over the counter Cortisone cream. It is an anti-inflammatory and helps with the redness.
