Get one of those Osama Bin laden things. I think they call them turbans, anyway get one and wear it to school. Tell your teacher you want to learn more about different cultures. Your teacher will agree with you they're that kind of people.

Shave all your body. No, really you need to go get a RID kit and follow the instructions, I think if you get all the bugs and eggs out you may return to school after they check you again.

The shampoos are the best. get yourself some RID and you should be good to go. If you're really concerned, there is also a producted called RobiComb that you can use fro extra insurance.

shaving your head will immediately get rid of them. for a less drastic measure, use the shampoos and brush with a lice comb (it has very small very close metal teeth)

Do you have a lice comb? If so take and put mayo on your dry hair for 20 minutes. Then rinse and put lots of conditioner in it. comb it out. Put it in 4 sections. Have someone help you, but comb each section thoroughly and even after you think you have them all, go back over it and back over it. If you have head and shoulders its good bc lice makes your hair dry. If you go to school, wear your hair tightly braided, it makes it harder to get it that way. Also, if every other day or so you use your dog's flea shampoo *perfectly safe* you catch the eggs that hatch and do that for 2 weeks, they should be gone. Also, get something like Rid 2000 to spray on your linens.

you can go to your local pharmacy and get some RIT shampoo. it is about $10.00. also get a metal fine tooth comb. use the shampoo and go through your hair with the comb until there is no more bugs or nits (eggs). If you don't have any money you can go to your local dept. of health and they will give you shampoo for free.

Depending on how many bugs are in your hair, how long you've had it, how many eggs they have layed, it could take a while. But it's good to use the shampoos and comb, or also I heard dying your hair could work. You can look up on google how to get rid of lice. Oh don't wash your hair for a few days (gross I know) and wear hair products in it like hairspray and stuff, lice hate dirty hair, so they will eventually die. Also change your pillowcases and bed sheets.

Quell shampoo works well, but my understanding is that it is only sold by prescription.
A-200 Pyrinate is sold over the counter. It does not sting, and I found it useful the two or three times I had an infestation of crabs.
There are other preparations available over the counter that immediately kill crab and head lice. They all work well, but some of them can sting when you use them to get rid of crab lice.

Okay I had this problem before. Put in conditioner, really rub it in because conditioner stuns lice. Make sure only conditioner, no water. Then get a really tight comb and comb until all the lice are gone. If you also have Tea Tree Oil this kills the lice too. It works a lot better if you have someone do it for you, so get Mom, Dad or sibling to do it for you. Hope this helps!

Lice are parasites and are actually difficult to get rid of. First you need someone you trust. and yes, get the good stuff in the store. there's no home remedy that really works. NIX or Rid will be perfect.
You also need to wash ALL of your linens, stuffed animals, blankets, pillows, even your bathrobe and seat cushions in HOT water. Whatever you can't wash needs to be put into a plastic trash bag and sealed for two weeks or so.
Get spray for furniture and carpet, then make sure you vaccuum everything very well.
Now to the friend. To get rid of these tricky suckers, you must follow the directions on the bottle to a T. Then have your friend divide your hair into small sections. This person will have to go through your hair almost strand by strand and pick the tiny bugs off the scalp and the nits off of the shaft of the hair with a special comb. Nits look like a dark teardrop and will be located close to the follicle, depending on how long they've been there. Nits are not easily removed like dandruff would be.
This process is tedious and basically sucks, but the pleasure of not itching is awesome.
Here's the worst part. A week after you treat, you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO treat again.
I hope this helps.

get lice shampoo the brand my family would use whenever someone got lice was called NIX after doing that put olive oil in your hair and sleep with it in with a shower cap, this drowns any remaining lice. wake up early and wash your hair really well to get the oil out.. also if you have a hair straightener to kill the lice. (lice hate heat and that will burn them to death)

Of course you can get rid of them overnight, you can have them all out of your head within the hour. Once again, I am almost tearing my own hair out at the advice being given here.
My advice is ONLY use a shampoo that does not contain pesticides. There are natural remedies out there that don't just contain salt. Pediculicides (lice Killing pesticides) as a class are nerve poisons designed to interfere with the nervous system of lice. Unfortunately this interferes with our nervous systems as well.
Before you listen to anyone advising you to use a pesticide treatment please consider the following:
No chemical head lice treatment is legally allowed to be labeled as 'safe' as every insecticide is a poison. Every pesticide preparation has the potential to do serious damage depending on the individual. If a lice treatment does not work once it is not going to work twice, in fact the lice that live will breed into a whole new batch that are resistant to that chemical.
Read these articles and ask your parents to try to find a natural remedy containing Neem oil as this renders the lice unable to breed therefore making it impossible for them to build up a resistance.
Good luck.

Short of shaving all your hair off. There are some good sampoos out there. You will need to wash everything in hot water, clothes, sheets, hair care stuff. If you are treating them, you should be able to go to school tomorrow.

You need to go to the drugstore and pick up a box of RID along with the lice comb. You WILL need someone to do this for you to make sure all of the lice are gone.

If you are still in k-12 public schools, I think you have to be out for a certain number of days and then checked by the school nurse before going back to school (I am a teacher and that is how it works at our school).
To get rid of the lice, everyone you live with needs to shower with anti-lice Shampoo (for the hair on your head and on all body hair, too!) All bedding should be washed, all fabric should be vacuumed, and any blankets or soft toys that can't be washed should be sealed airtight (such as in a garbage bag) for several weeks to kill off any lice and/or eggs.

My daughter had head lice so bad one time and I used mayonaise. It sounds gross I know but it works. What you need to do is get your hair wet and put the mayonaise all over your hair, basically use the whole jar, the bigger jar. Leave it on for about an hour, it will stink, then rinse it and comb it really well. You can even use baby oil, but that is harder to get out. Good Luck!

the lice shampoo you find at walmart should work... make sure you leave it in long enough(time it.?), dont get it in your eyes, and god dont leave it in too long your hair will fall out,
ps, dannyboy is an idiot... it has nothing to do with taking a shower... lice dont materialize on dirty heads you moron, you get it from using someone elses brush or sitting next to someone with lice.

My sister swears that she got rid of her lice overnight by putting mayonnaise on her hair and then wrapping it with a towel.
She slept with this on her hair and then washed it out the next morning and was lice free.
Good Luck.

When my son got lice and gave it to me, I was NO WAY going to shave my head. The pharmacist in a local store told me to get a bottle of "Harts 2 -in-1 shampoo for dogs." It kills Fleas, tick and lice on dogs and it did a great job on my hair. The lice did die. Since I was worried that the nits would not die, I washed my hair with the shampoo every morning after that for a few days. (I still wash my hair every week with it. We have not had lice in nearly 20 years!) Also, another trick for you, use hairspray until you KNOW the lice is gone. Something in the spray keeps them in your hair so you do not spread them. It is also a good way to keep from getting the darn things! I hope this helps you!
