Just leave it in there. I got stabbed in the forearm really hard when I was in 5th grade and didn't even tell my mom about it.
You can still see the lead in my arm to this day, but it never got infected.
I think she will be fine if you just let it heal.
If you really want it out, I would recomend going to the doctor so that you don't cause any damage to her tissue while trying to dig it out.

well at least you dont have to worry too too much because its actually graphite, so you dont have to worry about poisoning. what you should do is work at it because its going to come out eventually, its going to hurt a bit but once it out the pain will lessen a bit but you have to work at it as if you are working with a splinter and in a sense "jimmy" it out

Its graphite not lead you need to soak it the white ring is probably a bruise. Use warm compressors you cannot squeeze or it will go in more. you may need to consult a dr.

Pinch the skin around it really hard, so the lead is sticking out. All I can say is to try with tweezers again, or call the ER. Sorry I couldn't be of more help :/

well you should most likely take her to the doctor since it doesn't like normal. You never know if there is lead underneath her skin or not. It should be looked at!

if it was on purpose, you should tell the child that it was really wrong and you are VERY mad. if it was by accident, well, accidents happen, try to find a good doctor and don't give up. nobody in the world should die because somebody has given up.

I've seen this for like 100 times at my school. try the tweezers one last time and if it doesn't work call a doctor. don't worry, it won't poison her because its not real led, it's graphite.

hmmm awww i am sorry try this: If the lead is still in, remove it with a needle and tweezers. If it is out there will still be some carbon black that will stay on the inside of the skin. If this is the case, just leave it alone. The only other option would be to reopen it and scrape the area clean and that would be too painful.

first off... the pencils' today do not have lead in them...
The 'lead' in it is a mixture of clay and graphite, baked in a kiln, then encased in wood to make the pencils.
The easiest way is want was posted here, take kid to the ER/ hospital... they have better tools' to deal with this matter.
one more thing... if the tip is at the top' of skin' use some glue and a little peice of paper over it , let it set up and then pick off the paper' this will also pull out the peice of non-lead from the skin... use that old white glue' , the same you get for kids' to make things with ... starts with an E,
your doing good' keep with the Hydrogen Peroxide, keep the area clean...
I am no Dr. nor giving advice to what to do...
only if it was me having to deal with this at hand...
keep trying what you have been doing' if your getting it out ' and is slow ' then keep doing' just that.
Time after this to help the other one learn, people get hurt when they are "horse playing around"...
