Wow, its like deja vu... this was me last weekend. And now my sunburn has just a little bit left to peel. All I did was continuously put the aloe spray on it. I also occasionally put Cocoa Butter on it. But mostly the aloe spray. I also took Advil when it got really bad and that helped.
I had a lady stop me in Walmart and tell me that she was from Biloxi MS and that she used to boil noodles in water and use the starched water with a cloth and it helped the burn and healing process. I also have a professor that is almost bald and he told me that he uses vinegar on a cloth and lays the cloth on the sunburn and that he ALWAYS used that on his head when he got sunburned. He said it smelt bad, but it helped a lot!! I did not try either of these, but you might want to.

Take a cold shower. Your skin keeps burning for up to 24 hours after you get out of the sun. The cold will stop the skin from getting worse. If its been longer this will feel good. Then use some aloe. KEEP YOUR SKIN MOISTURIZED. Use a lotion with no scent or dye. I like St.Ives or Oil of Olay. Johnson's baby lotion will work too but it kind of burns. You can also put diaper Rash cream on the really painful blistery parts.

I know it sounds gross, but if you get it on quickly it is designed to pull out irritation, redness, and heat.
It will also help keep you from peeling.

hi there, aloe vera will cool it down (fresh stuff works better) although a ripe tomato will stop it hurting (& it wont peel as bad), i know it sounds kinda gross but just cut it in half and cover the affected areas. Do it twice then have a shower.
Hope this helps

buy an aloe vera plant and take the jelly out of it and place it on the burn..it will make u feel incredible and cool. try to leave it on as much as u can. Sunburn creams work but natural is better. and take some Advil and drink vitamin C. take a shower with oatmeal soap. Aveeno works great.

Banana Boat makes this aloe gel that is FANTASTIC for sunburns and you can use as much as you want. It's a green gel in a bottle with a yellow cap. Just keep putting it on and it should really help not only the redness but the heat you might feel.
Also, if you want that sunburn not to blister so much, put some fragrance free lotion on it (I use Jergens). It will help the sunburn go away faster and that sunburn just might turn into atan so you get something good out of all this :)

Ouch!!
If you use Aloe, you need to re-apply over and over.
That's what I use.
But my mom also says that you can use A&D.
If the aloe doesn't work try the a&d.
Good Luck!!

i was totally in your boat about a week ago
i still have the burn, and i'm peeling everywhere, but luckily it doesn't hurt anymore.
basically all i did was use aloe vera lotion twice a day. can't do much more.
i also used a little 1% steroid cream on the worst areas.
when it's done blistering and starts to peel, remember to NOT peel it, no matter how tempting it is. it causes scarring

I can't remember the name of it, but they have this numbing pray. I had my husband get it for me at Walmart when I got this blistering sunburn and heat exhaustion. Also pure aloe vera gel and slather it on thick and wear light weight cotton clothing. Also sleeping under just a sheet at night time. I wish you the best. Just keep the aloe on there.

Aloe is the best, but if you don't have any for now, then use some Vinegar on your sunburn!! I know that stuff stinks, but it will help with the stinging though!!

Aloe is the best, and it cools it. Your skin will probably peel faster with it too.

Try Carroten, Cooling Gel. It really works!
There's also an old greek grandma's recipe: spread yogurt on your sunburn and let it dry on it. It works also. In Greece, we still do it!!
Good luck, dear! I know it hurts! Been there many times...!!
