I use acne free which is basically like proactive and i works well but sometimes i get a few like when im about to have my "monthly visit" so i use clean and clear overnight patches. they clear up unwanted pimples overnight! i didnt think it would actually work but i tried it and i helped i strongly recommend it. Good Luck :) |

Proactiv did not work for my daughter either. We had to eventually send her to a dermatologist. Now her skin is beautiful. |

I do agree that drinking a lot of water helps. I think replacing your soft drinks with water will help your pores rid the excess oil & stuff that clogs them. You might want to spend $40 and get a facial done at a local salon. Make sure you get someone who is licensed and that can actually extract the blackheads, etc. It is very important to keep up some kind of daily and nightly regimen to cleanse your face until you find what works for you. Just remember if you have stubborn acne, you have to be consistent - - - that means cleanse every day and every night. No skipping. |

Try this for acne: Accutane-an antibiotic and Ziana- a new acne gel. See your dermotologist. Also wash face with cool or cold water, never hot. And never use scrubs or toners, they aggravate acne. Use a mild cleanser and mositurizer like Cetaphil. Best Wishes |

Go on oral antibiotics from your dermatologist. It's worth it. Of course, there's always Accutane for a few months and then you can stop. |

not that i should talk about treating acne cuz i have acne and i cant get rid of my own. but i'll try and help. proactive i am currently on and its been about a week. my skin has done nothing but get extremely dry but i cant expect to see results untill a month or so. you can try Benzoil Peroxide. its for pimples. just rub that on it morning and night. or you can try sylicide acid it suppose to help skin peel off dead skin cells which clog pores. and yes drink lots and lots of water. if u have it on ur forhead it could be because of your shampoo/conditioner. if your face is dry thats not good. your skin wil produce more oil and better chance of pores to get cloged and create a home for bacteria which leads to pimples. i also heard the Hydrogen Peroxide is great for pimples because it kills the bacteria instantly. if you do use a moisturizer(which you should) then make sure its an oil Free and fragrence free kind also make sure it contains Vitamin E which is GREAT for the skin. hope i can help. but you just need experiment till you find a method that works. and one last thing.... after u wash ur face with warm water. wash it with cold water to close ur pores so dirt cant get it. |

A realy good way beleive it or not is to drink lots water. I mean more then you usualy do. This might hurt just a pinch but if you put soap on a loofa and rub your face softly than that should help the grease and oil get off your face which will result in less pimple action. |

laser acne Treatment, it is the only thing that worked for me. Try it. I used to get huge zits that were cysts and this is the only thing that cured me. I get it twice a year. |

It's always wise to to stay away from products that contain alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, animal products and bi products, acetone, etc. These ingredients have been shown to cause irritation and dryness. Drying out your skin often causes it to overcompensate by producing more oil, later causing skin problems. Also, products that contain mineral oi, the molecular structure of which is too large to penetrate the pores of your skin, sit on the top layer like saran wrap and just get wiped off over time. This causes dirt and debris to collect of your skin and give a temporary feeling of softness but have little to no benefit in the long run. You need a pure, water based product that will penetrate your dermis and deeply clean, condition, and Hydrate your skin with proper ingredients to combat acne and will not cause irritation or dryness. You might want to try Arbonne. Their products are formulated in Switzerland and regulated by the FDA, so they do not contain any of the ingredients listed above. They are pure, safe, beneficial, and hypoallergenic. They have a great acne line where people have seen amazing results! They also have a great dietary supplement to support skin from the inside out targeting troubled skin with vitamins, minerals and L-Lysine, an amino acid. I would be happy to help you and show you how your can purchase the products at a 35% discount if you're open to giving it a try. The system will end up costing $43 + shipping and tax. That's a great price for fast results, pure, safe, and beneficial products that have been proven to work. Take a look at some of the before and after pictures. Good luck. |
