Like a small bug bite.
It turns a red circle about 2inches in diameter and gets inflamed a bit.

ok well a negitave TB the bump will go away and you wont be able to see it when its time to get it checked,and if you ar epositive for it then the bump or bubble wil still be there and it might be red.

It could be or it could be that you can't do the shot, you may have to do the x-ray, it sounds like you had a bad reation to it. This happen to me about 2 years ago and i learned then that i can no longer take the shot, but i must do the x-ray, after so many years of taking the tb test. I've been the health field for 15 years and after so many tests some people begin to have this type of reation and then they learn that they can no longer do the shot, only x-ray.

It;s NOT the redness that shows you are positive...it's the induration (bump). It needs to be read in 48 - 72 hours so don't worry yet and even if it is positive it only means you have been exposed NOT that you have it. You will need an Xray and then possibly medication to keep your body from getting actual TB.

When I had my TB test they drew a circle around the area where they injected me at... And I was told that at first its going to get red and spread or swell a lil... Thats only because of the shot. But then when they see you back to check the results in a few days then you'll know if its positive or not.... If the area starts to clear in a few days your results will be negative.... But if its still swollen and spreading and its still red or turned other colors then that positive.... Thats the best way to telll you so that you'll understand
