Absolutely not. It's an overgrowth of the yeast called Candida Albicans that naturally inhabits us. .
EVERYBODY has Candida Albicans in their body.
It is only when it overgrows that it becomes a problem and is called thrush
Some women become very prone to it if they have used antibiotics a lot, have a bad diet with too much sugar, or wear underwear or trousers that don't let their nether regions "breath" for instance.
Be nice to her, she is uncomfortable enough without being suspected of cheating!
Just give her time (it usually doesn't take long to get rid of) and be sympathetic. Thrush is so common that if I remember correctly I once read that almost every woman (sexually active or not) will probably get it at least once!

Blimey, I had the equivalent of and I'm a guy. A trip to the local GUM clinic sorted me out.

Nooooooooooo its highly likley to have she may have used to much vaginal deodorant or perfumed bubble bath that causes irritation, or tight jeans and nylon undewear.
here are some things she needs not to do in the future :
avoid using perfumed soap, bubble bath and other irritants such as disinfectants
avoid douching (washing out the vagina with liquids)
avoid tight nylon underwear
women should wash and wipe the genital area from front to back
women should also use sanitary pads rather than tampons during their periods
You can't catch thrush from kissing, hugging, sharing baths, towels, cups, plates or cutlery, or from toilet seats or swimming pools.
You need to trust your g/f go and talk to her :0)

nooooooooooooooo!!
thrush is usually too much yeast being produced.
if your girlfriend wears tight knickers and trousers then it can be caused due to the warmth of her body and the irritation of her skin on the fabric (if it's nylon or synthetic then it's even worse)
it's very itchy and sore so give her sympathy...don't accuse her of cheating.
with this as your only proof, you'll look silly and she may not forgive you.,

Thrush can be spread sexually but MOST OFTEN it is not.
Candida Albicans = Thrush is present at low levels in most female vaginas most of the time. The problem comes when it overgrows. In some women this can occur every month usually around period time. It can occur more frequently in women on the pill, or when they are pregnant. It also commonly occurs when women are given antibiotics for something else.

no not at all...thrush is caused through many things ie....if your gf is on the pill and taking or has taken antibiotics...for instance ..this can cause thrush also things such as wearing tights or constricting clothing around that area can also cause thrush. You can pass thrush on during sex but it is not the only cause. It is a bacterial infection that is easily taken away from products you can buy over the counter from a pharmacy. If you have any worries concerning your gfs loyalty is it not wise to approach the subject in a non confrontational way before you think the worst???? hope this helps x

Don't panic. It certainly doesn't mean she has cheated on you. You can just develop it without sexual contact with anyone. Some women get it when they're run down, or after their period, if they wear tight trousers or tights or if they take antibiotics. You can develop thrush if you have sex with an infected partner but it isn't usually related to sex and much more likely to occur for reasons I've stated before. Your girlfriend should go to her GP or a sexual health clinic so they can treat her and so there's no chance of passing onto you. Or she could go to any chemist and buy tablets or creams to treat it. hope this helps, don't jump to any wild conclusions! :)

No... Thrush is basically a yeast infection in a persons mouth. It happens for a variety of reasons..
Feed her yogurt with live active cultures and it will go away.

Thrush is not a sexually transmitted disease, it is caused by a chemical imbalance in the vagina, caused by things like tight clothes and nylon underwear.
If I were your girlfriend I would annoyed that you jumped to that conclusion. Especially when she is probably in some pain right now and could use some sympathy.

Not necessarily. Thrush can be caused by a lot of things, including medications she may be taking. If you're worried about her cheating on you, maybe you should find new girlfriend, or else sit down and talk to this one.
P.S. Are you using condoms?

not necessarily.
can be caused by change in hormones/change of bath soap etc
also you could have given it to HER as men dont show any symptoms.
if you cant ask her outright then dont be with her. you should be able to trust yr partner.
make sure you both get treatment. its free at a clinic and they see it every day so dont be embarassed

Highly unlikely - it can be passed through sexual contact but 9 times out of 10 it is an unblance in the body.
Most women suffer from this at some point...
