You are stuck with it for life. Did you already have a blood test to confirm that it is Herpes? You can however, manage the symptoms using prescription medication. Talk to your doctor.

No, there is really nothing you can do to cure it. There are many ways to control it. No matter what, for the rest of your life, short of a scientific omen, you will have the Herp.

No there is not a cure for herpes...yet. There are different medications that may make the virus lie dormant and you may only have one outbreak during your entire life but the fact remains that it is still there. And there is no cure for HPV either.

There's medication you can take either every day, or one every three days. It will help prevent outbreaks, which are when there are a lot of "pimples". You should ask your doctor about the medication that can be an option. This will not cure herpes, you will still have it for life. Always tell your sexual partner of the chances they might get it, and also have protection every time you have sex to prevent other STDs.

People can promote safe sex, but there's nothing that feels better than going at it without a condom. If you have genital herpes saddly there is no cure. The disease is contagious, particularly during an outbreak, and is incurable with present technology.
Here are some medications for it, just research http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herpes#Availability_of_generic_drugs .

Yes there is... Follow these handy easy-to-use steps:
1: Turn on your oven to broil. This is ~500 degrees F for all you math wizards...
2: Find or buy a brass or Copper spoon. This is important because the heat properties of the metal directly affects how cool this will look.
3: Place the spoon face-down (like you were when you contracted the herpes in the first place).
4: Bake the spoon for 15-20 minutes. Ensure that the spoon has a nice rosy glow.
5: Using an Oven mitt (optional) pick up the spoon and direct the back of the spoon onto the affected area for 3-5 seconds.
NOTE: Ensure that you only use the spoon for 3 warts maximum, as the spoon will cool and you will have to reheat.
6: Rinse and Repeat!
(the spoon you idiot... your nether-regions will need some steel wool)
I hope you find this helpful... This is a traditional family remedy, share it among your friends!

If there was a cure don't you think your gynecologist would have told you about it? There is no cure. Just medication to help control outbreaks. BUT, EVEN WITH THE MEDS YOU CAN STILL PASS THE DISEASE TO OTHERS!!

There is no cure only treatment. For most viruses there is no cure. Bacterial infections are different they are easier to kill with antibiotics. Herpes is a virus and as of now cannot be killed but can be treated.
