its not impossible, as apparently you can get sti's from toilet seats, but that would just be really unfortunate, or maybe just maybe someones telling fibs?

Just because he says so does not make it so....do not be so willing to accept someone's health/sexual status at face value.....it is possible that a child can be born with an STD, so by that being so, the answer would be yes.....You should go to CDC website and educate yourself on STD's and use protection when having sex....not everyone is honest, and putting your health and welfare in the hands of a "boyfriend" is not a wise choice.

Yes, some STIs can be passed on from your mother during birth, although this is rare. Many however are also blood-borne and can be passed on if an infected person were to get blood on you, etc.

yes it is! There are many different scenarios that could occur that would allow the transmission of a disease/infection to either of you! Also don't forget that some infections are inherited and also remember that it doesn't have to be an STI to affect your health "down there."

No. If neither of you have had sex before, neither of you had an STI before, so it's impossible to pass on something that doesn't exist.

well, technically, it could be an std. like i know for a fact hiv is like this not so much anything else, but with hiv, you can get it through dirty needles or even if your mom had it. so he could technically have an std without having sex. as far as sti goes im not realy sure, but i'm sure it would have a same concept. like certain things could be hereditary then passed down?
you should go get checked out though, both of you. just for both of your sakes. ya never know!

Yes, there are other ways of contracting an STD. If either of you received a tainted blood transfusion (rare, but possible) then one of you could be infected. Also, if either of your parents were infected but didn't know it, then it could have been passed to one of you during delivery. Pubic lice can be transferred by just casual contact with an infected person's area, as well as herpes and HPV. Even if he swears that he has not been active with anyone else, that doesn't mean that he has, or that he hasn't been in contact with someone else. The best thing to do is both of you get tested for STD's and treat whatever you have.

if so, either of you could have been born with one, from your parents, and could give it to the other.

I believe you can get through birth if mom was infected. Also think it's possible to catch through unclean restroom facilities.
So, I would have to say that it is possible even though you both may be virgins. Best bet is to see a doctor just to be on the safe side.

Yes.
Although it's not likely, it's not uncommon either to transmit herpes to the genital region if one or both of you have cold sores. Also, bacterial vaginosis is considered an STI, though it's not difficult to treat.

Yes, it is possible to get a STD even though you and your boyfriend are virgins. There are ways to get a STD without intercourse such as oral sex or anal sex.
